Dr Pope has been my PC for several years. During this time he was often not available so I would see the Nurse Practitioner. As most years, Dr Pope was booked out over 6 months for a physical so I take the appointment with the Nurse Practitioner at only a 2 month wait. When my appointment day finally came, I showed up early and was told that the NP "was not in today so you'll need to reschedule" (what's another 2 months at this point)..... NOTE: This was the second time in the last two years Dr. Popes office had cancelled my appointment without notifying me. After this recent cancelation my prescriptions have run out so Dr Popes office wants me to make a special appointment to get my prescription refilled. Seems strange how this appointment can be made "same day/next day". So if you enjoy showing up for a long awaited appointment to find it was cancelled and then having to pay for a "special" appointment because you need a prescription refill, then this is the place for you!

Dr Pope is great but his office is terrible. Took 5 people to draw my blood and three calls to get a rx refilled. Totally unacceptable

Dr. Pope seems to be a good doctor, listens attentively, and seems to genuinely care about his patients. The only downside is that he is hard to contact and doesn't seem to get any of his messages.

Waited over a month for an appointment. Haven't been able to sleep suffering from anxiety and depression bc of an injury to my back. The Dr d idnt even do an exam on me. They charged me for the visit and did nothing to help. A waste of time and money. I guess they feel like since blacks was slaves they can deal with anything. It's hard getting adequate medical treatment when your black. So I guess I will pay around in pain until I can find a good Dr that treats all races the same.

Dr. Pope is one of the rare doctors to take the time to truly listen and has the desire to get to the right prognosis.

Today was my 1st visit and I must say that I was pleased. Dr.Pope took the time to listen to & address my concerns one by one. Didn't rush me out or try to dope me up with a pill for everything!
