List of David Wright's Reviews
The facility where my elderly father is staying set an appointment here. They refused my father's Medicare Advantage insurance. So I paid out of pocket since "it was the doctor." We ended up seeing Dr. David Wright. He was terribly condescending and refused to explain why or how he made conclusive diagnoses and mocked me as I tried to understand and process what he said. US News and World Reports gives his "patient experience" 3/5 stars-- with most of the attributes 2/5. 2/5 is more in line with my experience. I felt like my humanity and intelligence were insulted and assaulted after seeing this doctor-- and I was the patient advocate! It did, however, elicit an emphatic response from my minimally-verbal father: "I didn't like him EITHER."
Insurance information posted on their Google Business account is not up to date. They refuse Medicaid patients and while trying to speak with the office Manager Allison about it I was treated like your typical "trash american" for having medicaid proceeded by being hung up on by her.If this is the voice behind your company and policies and what patients should expect to deal with, you should consider just closing your doors. I've never been so insulted by a health care worker in my life. I work with children who need to know people are still good, she is a clear example of why some just aren't.
Dr Wright frequently sees my husband and we are always pleased with the care
Dismissive, condescending, egotistical Muppet!
After a brief 15 minute office visit. Dr. Wright (irony) sent my son out of the office with the paperwork from his associate hospital writing "nonsense " 3 times on their diagnosis. Well my son need emergency surgery on a varicose vein to alleviate the excruciating pain he was in. Ive had multiple back surgeries and countless doctors. I've never had the displeasure of meeting a doctor with so little lack of concern. Read these comments. These folks aren't wrong. And Dr. Wright hasn't head the last from me.
I have been seeing Dr. Wright for approximately 25 years and I have nothing but praise for him. I am 68 years old and have had kidney stones since I was 9 (probably 600 plus over the years). Later on I developed prostate and urinary infections as well and problems with getting my PSA in line. Dr. Wright has always helped me through surgery or medicine to cure the problem. I consider him a wonderful and very knowledgeable urologist and would recommend him to anyone he has always helped me.
I brought my fiance here a month ago after we had an x-ray done at an urgent care and they told us he had a 20 mm stone and it had to come out ASAP. They gave us a copy of the X-ray to show the severity of the issue. We made an appointment and were brought in after for waiting quite a while. The nurses and other staff were friendly and helpful but when we met Dr. Wright he scoffed at the X-ray, told us there's no way my fiance's stone could be that big and said since we didn't have insurance we should just leave because a CT scan would be a waste of time. They charged us $300 and we left. We decided to wait until we had insurance from his new job to see a doctor again. But I had to take him to the ER because of the pain this week. Turns out the stone is so big it was stuck where the kidney and ureter meet and his kidney was so swollen that they had to operate. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. My fiance literally almost died at age 30.
Dr Wright acted very strangely. Told me I would be wasting the insurance companies money to have any testing done. He was so weird kept snapping his fingers. Too strange for me.
I have kidney stones and cyst on my uterus I went to Dr. Wright in hopes that he could tell me that my kidney stones moved or what my options are he was so unprofessional just sits look back in the chair and said well I can’t read your x-ray because you’re full of poop didn’t offer anything except for stronger pain medicine and come back into weeks so it’s just something simple if he wanted to do a procedure or if I just want to go through the pain I was so upset when I left I would never recommend him and will cancel my follow up appointment
Dr. Wright preformed a TURP procedure on me with excellent result. He also removed a kidney stone a couple years ago, again excellent results.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
