Jeffrey Hatchell's Online Review Report Card

I was really sad when my original doctor was retiring. She was replaced with another doctor who was great but after a few years, moved to a different practice. I was switched to Dr. Hatchell and am really pleased with the experience. He actually listens when I come in with data / ideas... and he's helpful, encouraging, and funny. Very happy to have him as my PCP.

Good Dr. that has never done wrong by me

Wonderful Doctor!

Not respectful of patients time. Scheduled annual checkup up on 2/13 about four months in advance. Respond to Hatchell's text and Confirmed on 1/30 my appointment. However, received a call from Hatchell's office on 2/3 informing me that the appointment has been cancelled; and offered to push it back to June.

What an absolute disappointment. I scheduled a visit a month out for a very time-sensitive appointment. At 4:48pm on the day before my scheduled appointment, I got a message from the office that my appointment had been canceled and I needed to call and reschedule. (Thanks for giving me ample time to work this out) I called to reschedule, and was informed that they could not see me for another month. UNACCEPTABLE! I know that doctors offices hate it when patients cancel last minute……and yet here this group does the same thing to me. And no help in rectifying the situation. If this office treats patients like like prior to their visit, I can only image how they treat patients in their care. I had an appointment scheduled, but ended up only getting a DISappointment. Avoid this doctor and his group at all costs. (I should have checked out his reviews before making my appointment…..I suggest you do that first.)

Misdiagnosed my husband resulting in his death. DO NOT go to Dr. Hatchell or you will be sorry. If I could give zero stars to him, I would. He's not even worth one star. "Showing interest" is no substitute for being a skillful doctor. That's just personality, not a craft of his trade. He is supposed to be more knowledgable, given his level of education and in field of medicine, but his actions prove to be surface decisions without no in depth pursue to find the root of the problem. Rather than searching further as to what could be the problem, he just writes a prescription for his misdiagnosis .. again .. resulting in death. Losing a life matters. He should imagine if it were his life .. what would he do? I like doctors that are very picky about my health issue as if it where theirs ... you know the type I'm referring to ... if you've ever had a good doctor, then you know. Hatchell is not this type doctor. Run. He missed something so elementary for a doctor. It's just unacceptable. I do NOT recommend this doctor at all.

He listens well and doesn’t rush you through the office visit. He and his staff are very friendly.

I would recommend for him

My husband and I both are patients of Dr. Hatchell and we both adore him. He shows care and interest to our concerns and more importantly to us, listens.
