I had a total knee replacement a little over 2 weeks ago at the Edgewater surgery center. Being an active surgeon within the hospital myself, I asked Dr. Shook to save the date and please be my anesthesiologist. I did so because I have known him for decades and he has always impressed me as a brilliant and caring professional. Besides being board certified, he is a Duke trained cardiac anesthesiologist. On the day of my procedure he greeted my wife and I with has warm smile. He made me feel at ease the entire stay. My spinal was painless and after vaguely remembering saying hello to my OR team, the next thing I remember was sipping ginger ale in recovery and hearing his calm voice tell me that everything went perfectly. He has many wonderful partners, but I felt blessed to have him make sure I would be going home that day to my family. Thank you Paul.

Do not let this guy work on you. He is dangerous and uneducated about his profession, he ruinbed my life by letting me get hypotension, he is unsafe stay away from him
