He had been my doctor for years but after getting sick 5 Winters ago and not being able to kick it I once again made an appointment with him as I was having desperate trouble breathing because of asthma. He actually asked me if it was all in my head despite a swollen lymph node in my neck. I saw a new doctor within a few days who immediately sent me for a biopsy. I had a 4 1/4in tumor in my cervical lymph node that was a fast growing non Hodgkin's lymphoma. It most assuredly was not all in my head. The day I started chemo I couldn't talk or hardly swallow water from the tumor crushing my trachea. I'm almost 5 years in remission. If I had not gotten that second opinion I would be dead.
