List of Thomas S Cerasaro's Reviews
I just had what is called a TURP procedure. I did some reading on it before hand and got little nervous about the procedure. I must say everything went very well. The Waccamaw Community Hospital staff was very professional and through. Dr. Cerasaro did exactly what he described to me. The overnight stay at the hospital, was a check to make sure everything was functioning properly. I am now recouping and hope I will be moving on to a much better way of life.
I had a pretty large kidney stone this doctor put me on his standby list to get me into his office to address my issue. This whole entire office staff is amazing I want to thank the doctor I would like to personally thank Kerri Evans for her professionalism caring and ability to put me at ease. The following day I had my operation and I have to give it to the anesthesiologist and Dr. Tom you guys had a grand slam!
Get a second opinion. Due to escalating PSA levels my family doctor sent me to Atlantic Urology for a biopsy. Dr. Cerasaro was assigned to me. The biopsy came back positive that out of 12 samples, cancerous cells were found in one core at 15%. When I went to the consultation, Dr. Cerasaro wanted to schedule me for surgery that week. I then had scheduled an appointment with another doctor who is the head of the urology department at a prestigious university. He looked at the test results and stated, you will most likely die of something else other than prostate cancer and suggested that we just keep looking every year and review the cancers progress. I told him that Dr. Cerasaro wanted to remove the prostate right away and his response was, Dr. Cerasaro just needed to make a mortgage payment. Get a second opinion.
Excellent doctor! Explains everything in terms anyone can understand and is Very comforting. Was called in on emergency basis but has quickly become a trusted personal doctor.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
