Awesome! Had a procedure at the Pavilion today. Dr. Jessamy, the nurses, the check in lady were all beyond awesome. Best orange juice ever.
I found it necessary three times in the last two years to visit the ER. I was seen immediately by all levels of medical professionals. The admin people filtered in later and treated me with respect and courtesy, money was never mentioned, though I do have insurance. My experiences predated the current scarcity of people willing to work in a hospital.
Terrible! I went there Saturday morning with excruciating abdominal pain to the emergency room area, no one was there except the security guard, one patient there said he had been there for an hour , no one had came out to see him, i held my pain and went to Waccamaw in murrells inlet instead, got in within 30 mins. Unbelievable! but its what i have come to expect of Georgetown,SC , a no care attitude!
When I was the there in February a nurse if some type stole 360$ from me
The service and care that they give is subpar at best. In my recent experience in the ER I was vomiting uncontrollably every 15 min for about 12 hours. My symptoms were not taken seriously and was actually argued with about what I was experiencing. This is the most awful ER experience I have ever been in. Check ins at my room were non existent and several times I had to disconnect my iv machine and go walking the halls to get an update or any types of help for my symptoms. I actually ended up checking myself out and asking for a prescription because the amount of care was so terrible and making everything worse.
I took someone else here. And while i was thete i visit my son in Law. He had Surgery on his feet.
Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital is truly an oasis hidden away. Never again will I go to any other hospital in the area! There is so much "good" to say about the staff that I will simply say: "Thank You to All!"!
Slowest hospital in the state. If you’re dying take the risk and go to Charleston or Myrtle Beach because you’ll die waiting here even when you’ve already been taken to the back and seen by a physician. If this hospital is funded in any way by Georgetown County tax payers we are owed a refund. WORST HOSPITAL IN THE STATE!!!
These ppl was rude and when I try make complaint they hung the phone I will be calling Monday morning I feel bad and can’t even be seen cause staff in the emergency room where horrible and rude and Wendy the manger hung up the phone these ppl had attitude when I sign in I never felt so bad
I’ve been in here since 6 it is not going on 9 I told the nurse it’s hard for me to breathe. I have been nothing but patient and waited. But this is ridiculous the wait in here takes forever. You have to wait in the waiting room for hours than turn around and wait in the back for hours just to be seen. It’s no way there’s that much People in the back. You guys don’t even deserve one star.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
