Palmetto Primary Care Physicians's Online Review Report Card

If you are looking for an doctor's office to take your money you definitely have found it. I was told you can not discuss more then 2 issues at on visit. Upon explaining my issues after sitting in the patient room for 25 mins I was rushed and told we had covered all that could be covered that day and to make another appointment. This office is definitely money hungry they do not care about their patients only about money stay Far Far away from thus place.

Rudest uncaring front staff that always mess up appointments and prescriptions. Don’t use this place unless you like being scammed

This place has the worst customer service and always mess up your prescriptions. Switched pharmacies and told them the city and address of the new place and still managed to send it to not the previous one but a totally different far away location. And this isn’t the first time they messed up and they will ignore any request you make and when you call the pharmacy for your prescription you won’t get it because they don’t know how to do their job.

I had the worst doctor's appointment I have ever had in my life at this office this week. When I made my appointment it was for refills and to get my labs done. The receptionist told me to make sure and fast for my labs. I was told to arrive a little early to fill out paper work. My appointment was at 9:30 and I arrived at 9:25. I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes before being put in a room and then continued to wait another 30 minutes before the FNP even came in the room. The FNP I saw was Diane McNeil, which I had never seen before. She pulled up my chart and went over what refills I needed. She continued to ask my why I needed a specific refill and I told her why I take this medication and she said "well I don't feel comfortable refilling that until you have tried something else". I told her that this is what works for me and all the reasons I take it and I didn't feel comfortable trying something else. She was continued to try to get me to try something else until finally I had tears in my eyes and convinced her to please fill it. She was extremely rude about it. After that she asked me if I had been tested for MS. I asked her what that stood for and she said "hell fire, you had to ask me". She had to look it up on Google. I do not believe she should be seeing patients and asking questions like that when she doesn't even know what it is. Secondly her language was not appropriate in any way. She then preceded to only listen to my chest. I was then asked if I was "peeing and pooping ok" and she glanced at my feet and hands and said "yep you look fine". When the appointment was finished she said well you're good to go. I said what about my labs. She said oh they were not ordered. By then I was furious. I told her that was one of the main reasons I made the appointment and that I was told to fast when I made it. Ms. McNeil then preceded to tell to calm down she would order them. The following day I went to the pharmacy to pick up my medication she had sent over. Only one of the medications were ready and the one she didn't put any instructions on how to give it. The pharmacy reached out to Palmetto Primary Care the day it was sent in and the never got a response from Ms. McNeil. I had to call them today to get them to fix it and then the pharmacy had to call again to get them to fix it. This was the most unprofessional appointment I have ever experienced in my life. This woman does not need to be working in a doctor's office. I have had issues with Palmetto Primary Care before and I will NEVER set foot in another one of their office's again. I have also tried reaching out to multiple people to try and get some help with the issues and not one person has returned my call. I can see why they do not have a good rating!

Wonderful experience for me. I got a new patient appointment the next day I called. Making appointment was super easy. Was told upfront about new patient costs without insurance. I think I waited 5 minutes in the waiting room. I loved my nurse and my nurse practitioner. They were great and truly listened and took their time with me. Checkout process was just as good. They accidentally called my rx to the wrong pharmacy. As I was leaving they said they would fix it. I was hesitant it would get done, because they were busy and they didn’t write it down. BUT they actually called me to let me know it was sent to the correct pharmacy about 20 minutes later. I really appreciated that! Thanks guys!

I am a stay at home mom with a toddler and a few months ago i was suffering regular anxiety and panic attacks, in addition to physical symptoms including chest pain. Dr. Stolin immediately dismissed all of my physical symptoms and stated that they were all anxiety related. She treated me condescendingly and when I asked for relief with my panic attacks, she acted as if I was a drug seeking patient. She denied me any panic attack meds, except for hydroxyzine, an (antihistamine) which was already recorded and known to give me an adverse reaction. What kind of doctor would prescribe something that their patients already had a bad reaction to? I was so upset with the care that I received, or I should say lack of. I felt humiliated, embarrassed, and frustrated that I wasn't being taken seriously, especially by someone that is supposed to be a lifeline for mental health patients. I left the office feeling stressed, lost, and alone. I canceled all future appointments and started with a new doctor who is actually taking my health seriously. She has started me with a cardiologist, pulmonologist, and a physical therapist to address my chest pain that was dismissed by Dr.Stolin as simply anxiety. If you're struggling with mental health and physical symptoms, I definitely would not recommend this practice as they will most likely treat you as a drug seeking patient and dismiss your physical ailments.

Do not go here if you care about your health. This place will lie to you and stress you out. I came here for 4 visits each one getting worse. Each visit for the same illness/sickness yet they would try to charge me different prices though nothing changed. The only good doctor they had quit and they are beyond understaffed now. Doctors will lie and tell you to call and asked to speak with them but when you do management will tell you that you’re not allowed to do so. This place is not focused on your wellbeing and shows no real care for your health. My primary care physician denied me a requested prednisone which is their right to do so but I asked about switching the 3 medications I prescribed and since I was denied on the prednisone I asked for they failed to acknowledge or address the other medications at all. I even went on to call them back and remind them and tell them my complaints only to receive two more phone calls neither of which addressed the other medications. I’m not sure how this Health care facility stays in business if doctors are not communicating with their patients. Completely ignored my other medication issues. 3/4 visits for canker sores in my mouth and the extremity of how bad they were the doctors did not look at my mouth at all. Instead of taking a look to see their own professional opinion and get an idea of what I am going through they only listened to me talk. If you visit a doctor and tell them your leg is broken I am sure they want x-rays so I am beyond lost as to why they did not want to take a look at my visible illness. I will not return here. I am still sick from my last visit as the medicine prescribed did not help. I believe they have nurses filling in for doctors because they’re understaffed. I see why their only good doctor quit. If you sit and talk to any of them you will see they are completely lost and treating it as a 9-5 rather than helping lives. Their website still displays the only good doctor Jeremy Loyd as a provider though he hasn’t been working there for at least 2 months. The “doctor” I was seeing isn’t even listed and I imagine that is because she is a nurse and that is the real reason she could not prescribe me prednisone as nurses are limited. Good luck. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

​This place has the absolute worst customer service. For example, one doctor said " I'm not like that doctor I like to talk and take time with my patients" a few minutes later she also said "well we'll talk about that next time I went over my 5 minute time limit" and stopped the appointment there. Keep in mind that was the first appointment with this doctor. It seems as if the doctors are out of the office more than they are in office. They rarely if ever call back when they tell you they will. They just have down right terrible way of treating their patients. Which is compounded by the fact that they are medical professionals and healthcare should be treated as a priority rather than a hassle. A person should feel comfortable with the healthcare provider not a burden.

Michelle was very dismissive and rude when when trying to schedule an appointment with this office. Will never use Palmetto Primary Care again
