Was seen by Dr Butler because my regular Southwest Medical doctor didn't have any appointments available for over a month. All I needed was prescription refills. After seeing him I now know why he has same day appointments as there was no one in the waiting room. No greeting or even introducing himself. Just asks why I'm there. If he bothered to read the chart that the nurse spent 10 minutes going over with me he would have know. Asked what prescriptions I needed refill. Again it was on the chart. He became argumentative when I didn't know the dosage. All he had to do was look at my prescription history that was on the computer in front of him. Then he starts going over everything I've ever been prescribed for the last 5 years. He literally yelled at me when I didn't know the medication I was on in the hospital. He tossed an orange bag at me and TOLD me that next time I'm to bring all my meditations in the bag. At this point I was totally fed up with unprofessional so-called doctor. Told him to just fill the two I needed and would never return to see him. 3 times I had to tell him the pharmacy I use. I stood in front of the receptionist until she confirmed the refill was sent. Don't wast your time with this doctor. I will be contacting my insurance and Southwest Medical about this doctor.

The most uncaring, rude & impatient physician I've ever encountered.

I'm a board certified neurologist retired. My son unfortunately has this terrible health care and family history of cardiac disease. [His 50 y/o sister just had 3 stints put in] I have had two bypass surgeries in my 40's..son is on BP RX not working well BP 171/117 and this guy refused cardiac referral. Wants to waste money doing an EKG in his office which is not offering anything therapeutic. LAW SUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN IMO. wake up people some MD's seem just out to make $$ not to really care for people

Most unprofessional doctor and office ever! Not only his idea of check up is a chat, you may as well ask alexa how you are doing, it's a liar too! I specifically asked him if the blood work he was thinking was part of the check up and preventitive(so covered by insurance) and he said yes! So I agreed to do it, guess what? It wasn't. When I got billed I called for clarification and they said they billed correctly so they authorized something I didn't!!!! I only asked for preventive, never authorized anything else! Do they realize some insurances don't cover blood work until you pay your deductible? You could drain someone of their savings or worse rent money!!

Wow! Listened attentively, ordered tests immediately, and set up next appointment. He already diagnosed the symptoms listening and still went above and beyond. I cannot ask for anyone else. Phenomenal doctor and great staff too!

I love Dr Butler. He has been my primary care physician for over ten years and I couldn't be happier with him. He takes the time necessary to find out what is going on and is very thorough and has given me excellent care. Dr Butler is great. I have been seeing him for 12 years. Here is the problem. He recently sold his practice to Southwest Medical. The first time I went to him after the transition, they tried to charge me a $250 “new patient” fee. Are you kidding? I am not a new patient so I refused to pay it. Now they Tell m they tell me that they don’t take my insurance, so they won’t make an appointment. I tell them that I will pay cash, but they say they don’t have a cash price, and that Dr Butler prefers not to have me as a patient any more. “You should find a doctor that accepts your Insurance.” I love Dr Butler, but I hate Southwest Medical.

Went here for 14 plus years. Sold his practice to Southwest Medical. Didn't even have the deciency to send a letter to his patients to notify them of the change to an HMO and he can no longer accept other insurance.

I have been seeing Dr Butler for 5 years now and I am a 59 year old man, he is by far the best physician I have ever seen. I trust his diagnosis and treatments as they have always been spot on. If you want a doctor that is very knowledgeable you have found the right place!
