G Allen Bass Md's Online Review Report Card

Just took my two year old today to see Dr.Bass. This is my last time ever seeing Dr.Bass. He was extraordinarily rude and when I asked about getting information about the Covid 19 Vaccination - he told me he doesn’t believe in getting children vaccinated for Covid. but that’s just “his beliefs”. He than refused to give me any information about how or where I could get my son vaccinated. i do NOT recommend Dr. Bass. He is extremely rude and unprofessional.

First and the last time using this provider. I have been using CMC since my daughter born. My daughter has been having fever 3 days in a row and his diagnosis was a virus and to continue doing what I’m Doing (over the counter meds) She has been since almost a week and doing the same thing does not work. After requesting a prescription he started saying that will not work. How Will not work !? Without trying !!!? Anyway not using Gary BASS again !

Has dismissed my concerns multiple times. My most recent and LAST encounter (I’ve been with this practice for 17 years worth my oldes so I don’t take changing lightly) with Dr. Bass consisted of him telling me that after one visit, 10-12 days of headaches and a fever for the last 3 days, then another visit, that my son had a “new virus” and still didn’t need treatment (but of course come back in 5-6 days). I waited 2 more days with high fever and called the office and he insisted it was still a virus...at this point my kid has been sick for 2 weeks. I took him to urgent care where they treated him for an infection and the whole thing was over with 5 days of antibiotics. They had the nerve to want to charge me $50 for my two kids medical records. The older doctors were great but Bass is the WORST! His rude office manager is a close second!

Dr. Bass is at the top of my "favorite doctors" list! As someone who works in healthcare, I can be very picky about doctors. Dr. Bass is as kind and compassionate as the old-timey doctors of yesteryear. He has been taking care of my 4 children for 19 years. The office is easy to work with and his nurse, Brandy, is the coolest nurse in Greenville. Dr. Bass is not an arrogant, condescending practitioner. He listens to me and to the kids without assumption and with extraordinary patience. If he is not certain about something, he isn't too proud to admit that a specialist would be better suited. Our health insurance is changing next year. I already told my husband that if Dr. Bass isn't covered under the new plan, we need to budget money to pay cash. I won't go anywhere else for any price.

Dr. Bass is attentive and his Staff is prompt, friendly and compassionate. I don't have anything negative to say about this Provider. He has been my child's Physician for 14 yrs. Dr. Bass, seems to always answer questions that most patients forget to ask. Awesome Pediatrician and his Nurse is someone you would definitely want to greet and assist your child. Office visits are always pleasant and comforting.

After two weeks of headaches, 4 days of high fevers, two visits and one phone call to Children’s Medical Center (specifically Dr. Bass) and them doing NOTHING, I finally decided to take My son to MD360, where he was given an antibiotic and cough medicine for a sinus infection. CMC wanted to charge $50 to transfer my kids medical records to me! Parents of young children...if you want them treated when they are sick avoid Dr. Bass. This is not the first time he has dismissed my child’s problems.

Dr. Bass continually dismisses patient/parent concerns. After two visits to this practice and a call to his nurse. I was repeatedly told virus—treat symptoms. Took my son to urgent care after 15 days of headaches 4 days of fevers and a nose bleed to find out he had an infection and needed antibiotics! Incredibly rude office staff as well

Both of my children have seen Dr. Bass for the last 6 years. We've been very pleased with the care we receive from him and the entire staff. I feel he takes time to listen to questions and concerns and answers them thoroughly.

Dr. Bass should have his medical license taken away from him. His bedside manner is the worst. He does NOT adhere to the protocol of his office. If I ever run into this poor excuse for a doctor, I will punch him in his stupid face. The people that work in his office are the worst but what would you expect knowing what an AH Dr. Bass is.
