Front desk staff was quite rude and minimally helpful. Could use some lessons in patient and family relations.

The lady who checked me in Peggy, deserves several gold stars. What a delight! She actually prayed with me.

I had to visit this hospital for an outpatient procedure. From the moment my boyfriend and I entered the building we were greeted and treated more like guests at a luxury resort than a hospital. The staff personally walked us to the room(s) we needed to be in, not just pointed and left us to figure it out. The security guard even got in the elevator with us and made sure we found the room we needed to be in. Dr. Mathis and Dr. Rhodie (I may have screwed up the spelling) were very kind and active listeners. I want to give Caitlin my RN (I hope I'm remembering the right nurse! Blonde shoulder length hair) and Lorraine a special thank you and kudos. These two ladies made me feel comfortable and relaxed even though I was an anxious nervous wreck. Caitlin and Lorraine were amazing!!! Thank you all so much!Lastly I wanted to mention how clean the hospital was. Overall I had a great experience in an otherwise misserable situation. I recommend anyone to go there for their hospital needs.

I had my baby boy September 15th with an emergency c section with doctor Simmons and I have to say I am so blessed to have had nurse Bailey looking at my baby’s heart beat to see it was dropping during my laboring process which caused me to have a emergency c section. Bailey was probably the absolute best nurse that I met that week I was there! She deserves nothing but 1000 stars if I could give her that!

*Update: the individual with Patient/Family Advocacy followed up with me the following day and took full account of the interaction with the lobby staff. The next day another person called and said an the employee in question had received an action plan. I truly hope the employee does receive additional training.My father had surgery at this hospital and communicating with the support staff was a nightmare from start to finish. The rudeness and lack of professionalism among the non-clinical employees was remarkable. I was spoken to like a child when requesting a status update on my father after going hours with no update and no having the ability to be present due to covid visitor guidelines. I was later scolded and my child traumatized by the front lobby staff when attempting to drop off (not visit due to child restrictions) my father’s bag. My child was so traumatized by the employee’s behavior that she scared and had an accident. I called patient/family relations and the lady who answered the phone sounded like I was disturbing a nap. An overall terrible experience.

I had an AMAZING birth experience at patewood almost a year ago. Patewood now holds a special place in my heart. They took amazing care of me and my son and they were even sweet to my husband and brought him someone's dinner they left before getting. The nurses were saints. My night nurse was so amazing and so helpful. They were so insanely good. I even got a little card I found when I got home that all those sweet nurses signed congratulating us. Thank you guys for being so helpful and so patient. My son is very healthy and its all thanks to them!

The staff, doctors, nurses and even the security personnel were very warm and compassionate to visitors and patients.

I delivered my baby here and can't say enough about the wonderful experience. The nurses, doctors and staff were kind and communicated well. Would recommend to any expecting moms!

I had a wonderful experience delivering there. I had a repeat scheduled c section and everyone I engaged with was nothing but kind. I only wish the hospital had better food options like Greenville memorial, downtown. There is no Chick-fil-A or subway or any coffee shops. The actual kitchen has weird hours as well. The rooms are lovely & clean, much better than downtown.

I took someone their for surgery.Everyone was really nice,especially the doctor an the staff on the 2nd floor.I had to go back out sat an wait in the parking lot.After the nurse called an told me to go back to surgery waiting.I got out to go up the red headed lady sitting ,when u first come in the door screams at me,an ask where are u going.I replie back to surgery waitingroom.She had such a bad attitude towards me like she was mad.Her attitude needs to b better towards other people.
