The best to ever do it. I was suffering from a tumor in my left knee caused by undiagnosed PVNS. Out of the numerous amount of doctors I went to, he was the only one who could give me answers. I was scheduled for surgery soon after, went to therapy and haven't looked back since. It's going on 10 years next month. Less than 2% of orthopedic surgeons are black. It was very important and comforting for me to feel and KNOW that I had an ally.

Dr. Porter has excellent bedside manners and I like how he explains your prognosis as well. He is a straight forward type of doctor.

Dr Porter is the most personable and caring doctor I've ever met. I wish he could be my primary care physician. An urgent care facility took x-rays of my shoulder and found some anomalies. They referred me to Dr Porter. Before he even saw me for the first time, he researched my case and found an 8-year-old x-ray of that shoulder that showed that same anomaly. Whatever the anomaly is, it obviously is not cancer or I would already be dead. How many doctors do you know that would do that kind of research before they ever saw the patient. That, coupled with the fact that he talks to you and listens to you on your first visit as if you're a lifetime friend, makes him one of the most exceptional doctors I have ever met.

Wow is all I can say! Dr. Porter is so professional, caring and knowledgeable. I wish I could have him as my doctor for everything. He takes his time and listens, provides care above and beyond most doctors, and I trust him to the fullest.

After seeing several doctors, I was referred to Dr. Porter - who’s 2 hours away from home; and boy am I thankful I was! From the very first time I met him, his confidence and bedside manner were remarkable! This was my first time ever having surgery and I didn’t have any fears thanks to him and his team! I can’t recommend him enough! 100/10!!
