I can only say THANK YOU to the good doctor. This is my hubbys 3rd go round with him and his staff. I truely cant even believe the care from him and his staff. There are no words. Although Dr. Lanford seems to be the only vascular specialist anywhere near Greenwood I will never go to him again. Ordered expensive tests that were not needed then refused to code them so my insurance would cover them. Absolutely no concern for my $900 bill it was too difficult to change the code since it was the one he always uses. My own fault really since I had been to him once before where he misdiagnosed me and tried to put me on an antibiotic to which I am allergic. Thanks for nothing.

I had a friend who is his patient of his I went with her to have an arteriogram done after her stent had failed that he had inserted. After the test he came out and said the leg had to be removed above the knee and within 6 month would lose the other. He never came to her room to explain anything and had no compassion for the news given while patient was still under sedation.As stated he didnt even come to her room to explain what had gone wrong or her options which after reading information there were at least 5 options. Yes she was a smoker but still...a little compassion attention and information goes a long way. Many nurses and other physicians said her desire for a second opinion was the correct thing to do even encouraged.

Dr. Lanford is as good as they come very concerned with his penitents well being and health. Takes the time to explain what he sees as the problem and explains what he feels is the best option for the penitent. East to talk to and will laugh and cut up with you to put you as easy during his examination.
