After having waited 30 minutes past my appointment time I was told by the office personnel that he was still another 45 minutes behind. Obviously his time is considered more important than mine. Absolutely unsatisfactory. However if I am late, I would get charged for the appointment anyway.

The male receptionist at this office did not act professionally.He was short with me when I arrived & told me I was late. He made me feel embarrassed in front of the other patients & when I asked him if he wanted me to leave, he said, “okay.”There were no parking spots and I had to park in a handicapped spot. I tried to call the office, but the phone went straight to voicemail. My paperwork was completed in it’s entirety on-line several weeks prior.Thankfully, there are several other providers in the area that I can choose from that hopefully have receptionists that treat patients with respect.

Yes, would definitely recommend Dr. Gilbreth. He and his staff are so efficient they make procedures quick and quite tolerable!

Dr Gilbreath performed my colonoscopy on a Tuesday, explained the results upon completion. I received a follow-up call the next day from staff. The doctor called me the following Monday on my cell which was turned off. He then called on my landline to check on me and explain the results once again. An office visit was not prudent, due to the pandemic. I found the entire process to be handled professionally, and I would not have any other doctor other than Dr. Gilbreath as my gastroenterologist-very knowledgeable and good bedside manner.

I'm new to H.H. and Dr. Gilbreath is the only GI around. I came for functional GI issues (4 or 5 times total) that he cannot grasp. He was obviously confused when he went through my medical history. He refuses to listen. I've been trying to gain weight for years. He told me 1 of my issues ONLY occurs in people who use "chronic" laxatives, which I have NEVER done. Then he told me I that I"think I'm fat" and "anorexic" and referred me to a psychiatrist. Entire staff is arrogant and condescending.

Unbelievably long wait for followup visit - over 2 hours and front desk allowed 2 patients who came in 45+ minutes after me to go in ahead of me. When asked why, I was told order was determined by paperwork turned in. I completed mine while standing at the window at check-in so that wasn't true. No apology, just uncaring.

Our family was vacationing on Hilton Head Island when a piece of steak became lodged in my father-in-laws esophagus. This doctor came to the emergency room and was able to get the meat out and get us on our way back to our hotel. Thanks Doc!
