I have seen Dr. Wynkoop for 2 different issues I was having. He was very professional and took the time to completely explain what was going on and made sure I understood what was causing my problems. He presented me 3 different options that we could proceed with to help take care of my problems. I would recommend him to anybody that needs orthopedic care. My husband and I were hit by a car on May 15th. My husband ended up with just bruises and abrasions. My femur was broken in four places. Dr. Wynkoop performed the surgery, and I feel really blessed he was the one who was on call when the accident happened. My recovery has been nothing short of amazing. Physical therapy was ordered and started in the hospital the day after surgery, received at home for 6 weeks, and then received in an outpatient physical therapy department. I had no postoperative complications of any kind. Dr. Wynkoop answered all of my questions. His office staff is extremely kind and efficient and this is one of the most well-run offices I have been in. All of this has been particularly appreciated since we are from Columbia SC and were in Hartsville when the accident happened. My husband and I were hit by a car on May 15th. I started seeing Dr. Wynkoop because my Mother is a patient of his, and she has always had great things to say about him. He has now treated my knee, and performed my shoulder surgery (rotator cuff repair). He has always been friendly, professional and informative. The office staff is wonderful as well. I have never had a problem getting an appointment to be seen in a timely manner, my questions are always answered completely, and they all act like you are a part of their family.
