Diagnosed with prostate cancer.Need surgery, He explained in detail about the surgery. Answerd all of my questions.And was compassionate and understanding the entire time .His staff all seem knowledgeable and caring. Overall he made a very unpleasant situation more understandable. I would recommend him to anyone. Surgery is in the near future.And anticipate the same professionalism that I have already experienced.

I haven't ever been this upset over a doctor. I had to take my son and he didn't even discuss options with us, he just proceeded to make a decision and act on it without clear communication and consent. Just as another review said, he was dismissive of the pain and stress of the experience by comparing it to getting a shot...hardly. I wouldn't recommend ever taking a child here. Being a health care professional was shocked when he did not wear gloves when examining my husband ‘s post op area when he was making rounds for my husband’s doctor! I told my husband’s doctor we did not want Dr Horger back in his room!

He's the best was so nice and token good care of me twice.

He was arrogant, impatient, condescending and snide. He mocked me for having anxiety, he undermined my pain levels and grew agitated more than once. He made discriminatory remarks about my tattoos as well. I highly recommend finding a more mature doctor.
