Dr Gilbreath performed my colonoscopy on a Tuesday, explained the results upon completion. I received a follow-up call the next day from staff. The doctor called me the following Monday on my cell which was turned off. He then called on my landline to check on me and explain the results once again. An office visit was not prudent, due to the pandemic. I found the entire process to be handled professionally, and I would not have any other doctor other than Dr. Gilbreath as my gastroenterologist-very knowledgeable and good bedside manner.

Dr Gilbreath has a wonderful bedside manner. He is not only a perfect gentleman but he also is concerned about all aspects of your medical condition. He takes the time to listen to you and his surgery skills are impeccable. I have seen him several times and never had a complaint about him. I have also recommended him to several of my family and friends..

If I could give Dr Gilbreath 10 stars I would! He is the kindest most caring and compassionate doctor I’ve ever experienced. He’s done my husbands colonoscopy and he’s done mine twice as well as esophageal dilation twice. He’s been working very hard to find a remedy for my digestive issue and he won’t give up on me. Dr Gilbreath gives each of his patients his full attention and is never in a rush. Best doctor EVER!And his office staff is awesome!

I'm new to H.H. and Dr. Gilbreath is the only GI around. I came for functional GI issues (4 or 5 times total) that he cannot grasp. He was obviously confused when he went through my medical history. He refuses to listen. I've been trying to gain weight for years. He told me 1 of my issues ONLY occurs in people who use "chronic" laxatives, which I have NEVER done. Then he told me I that I"think I'm fat" and "anorexic" and referred me to a psychiatrist. Entire staff is arrogant and condescending.

Unbelievably long wait for followup visit - over 2 hours and front desk allowed 2 patients who came in 45+ minutes after me to go in ahead of me. When asked why, I was told order was determined by paperwork turned in. I completed mine while standing at the window at check-in so that wasn't true. No apology, just uncaring.
