Dr. Gwozdz and his staff are professional and nice.

Dr Gwozdz does not communicate with patients and has bad bedside manners which is one thing. Some great doctors do not have good bedside manners but I have had multiple procedures performed by Dr Gwozdz and the most recent one was botched. I would not recommend him at all.

Dr. Gwozdz was very easy to talk to about issues that were not easy to talk about.

This is the Doctor I had when we lived in Callawassie. Knew nothing about treating a patient with IBD prescribed a medication used to treat kids with diarrhea.....

The nurse practitioner actually lied in her notes from my consultation. She put information in her notes that I never said to her. The insurance person in the office told me what was written in my chart. The office staff is rude and disrespectful.

Great doctor and very smart. He took the time to call both my husband and me with test results. I have a lot of confidendence in him.

Dr. G got me through two weeks in the hospital following an overload of cancer treatment almost 3 years ago. He has since made sure I have annual screenings and hee has always been professional and caring in his treatments. I am especially impressed with the out-patient facility which the doctor has a financial interest in. The care there is extraordinary.

I was referred to Dr. Gwozdz by my primary physician. I have been a patient of his wife, Dr. Christina Gwozdz for over 20 years, and I have always been treated by her staff, and Christina with the utmost in patient care. Therefore, when I was referred to her husband for a problem I had been having with Acid Reflux and a swallowing problem in my Esophagus, I thought I would receive the same high quality of service. I WAS SO WRONG!!! During my very short office visit, Dr. Gwozdz did no examination of my problem, other than listening to my story. Dr. Gwozdz told me, since I would be "under," I might as well have a Colonoscopy procedure on the same day; even though I had already had a Colon test performed during the previous 18 months which tested negative for any colon problems. I thought this was odd, and I felt like I was dealing with a slick car salesman, who wanted to add another feature to the car, so he could make more money. So we scheduled the two procedures, and he prescribed a RX for me to take in the interim, to mitigate my symptoms. So..I took my first capsule, as prescribed. At 2:00 A.M. woke up with a very bad headache, upset stomach, throwing up uncontrollably, chills, and shakiness. This went on for about 45 minutes, so my husband called the Hilton Head Medical Center E.R. and spoke with the physician on call. The very nice physician told my husband what over- the - counter treatment was needed to stop all the side effects of this medication. He also stated, that if this did not work, to come to the E.R. immediately. Luckily his recommendation worked. I phoned Dr. Gwozdz office the next morning, and got a recording. I left a message on the nurse's voice mail, and explained my situation, and asked that Dr. Gwozdz give me a call. I got a call later that morning from the nurse, who very curtly told me that it was impossible to have those side effects from the prescription that I took. I explained that these are the side effects listed on the prescription information sheet that Walgreens had provided me. The nurse stated " that is impossible, as this has never happened before." I asked that Dr. Gwozdz give me a call, so I could discuss this reaction to the drug he had prescribed. After a day, I received no call from Dr. Gwozdz. Therefore I decided that I did not want any physician to perform any procedures on me if he was not willing to take a few minutes of his time to call me when I had a problem. I cancelled both procedures with Dr. Gwozdz' office and the Surgical Center. Then I receive a call from Dr. Gwozdz' office asking why I want to cancel! I repeated the same story, and have never heard from Dr. Gwozdz. HOWEVER...he did send me a bill for his services. I paid his bill, even though the service was so horrible, he doesn't deserve one penny! Do you want a physician who will not phone you when you have a problem?? I would recommend that you highly avoid this physician!

Dr Gwozdz was very professional and explained everything to me. Took the time to answer any questions I had. Dr was very thorough. I would highly recommend him.
