Dr Hunter is very kind, patient and thorough in his explanations and findings. He never makes you feel rushed or a burden. My mom had an exam with her and he didn't pressure her into having any procedures (even though she had moderate cataracts) and explained why he ordered whatever testing he wanted her to do. His staff is incredibly friendly from the check in, the technician and the young lady at the appointment desk. We definitely will be staying with Dr Hunter.

Dr. Hunter of Sungate Medical Group. and his staff along with the staff of Bluffton Okatie Outpatient Ambulatory Surgical Center are very kind, dedicated, talented professionals,who do their best to care for you. They skillfully use the most modern equipment, much of which I’ve never encountered before, including Dr. Hunter’s utilization of laser-assisted eye surgery. In particular, Dr. Hunter is a truly caring, calm, highly trained and skilled eye surgeon, who previously removed a cyst on my eyelid and recently removed cataracts from my eyes while also dramatically improving the acuity of my vision. With the blessing of God, Dr. Hunter, his staff and equipment, and the staff and equipment of the Outpatient Surgical Center have miraculously improved my sight! What a great team Dr. Hunter leads!

The whole experience was positive and pleasant. Dr Hunter gave me the time and attention I needed to understand the process. The entire staff has been extremely supportive and friendly throughout. And the results are outstanding. The world is a brighter place!

Totally AWESOME ! I mean that, too! Dr. Hunter is a most wonderful Doctor. He expertise and demeanor are second to none. I have never had a better Doctor. And, on top of that his team is wonderful, as well. They are very friendly and accommodating professionals. I'm very happy and seeing clearly, now! Did I say Awesome ?

Having had a military and commercial aviation career I have always been paranoid about my eyes. Dr. Hunter and his exceptionally professional team completely alleviated any apprehensions that I may have had. My surgery consisted of cataracts with Symfony lens replacements.
