My visit was too short. I left not feeling fully informed or feeling as if Dr Lamotta was not really interested or concerned about my back and neck issues. The appointment felt very rushed. I would have liked to be shown my x-rays and discussed with the doctor so I can be FULLY aware of my back and neck condition.

Dr. LaMotta performed an SI joint fusion on my left hip and I’m now pain free in that area. My thanks to everyone in the surgical department at Midlands. I was very well cared for.

I saw Dr. LaMotta couple of weeks ago for my neck pain. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, polite and caring throughout the entire appointment. He went above and beyond in addressing my multiple concerns. I am really thankful to Dr. LaMotta for the appointment, and highly recommend him. All his staff is really caring & loving. Starting from the receptionist Kristen, clinic staff Jill, & the checkout lady Melissa are just wonderful. Thanks to everyone there!

There was nothing about this visit that I did not like. The ladies at the desk were very pleasant. The facility was clean. My visit with Dr LaMotta was very good. He's a very knowledgeable man He gave me all the pieces to the puzzle that I needed to make a decision as to having surgery. He made everything clear and was very personable. I made my decision after I slept on it got up in the morning and looked at YouTube videos which helped and I have decided to have Dr LaMotta do my surgery. I was that satisfied that I did not need to have a second opinion. This man knows this stuff. I'll be up and walking around pain free before I know it..

I have been to Midland Orthopedics for 8 plus years at their location on Lake Murray Drive and downtown Columbia. I have had wonderful experiences with all my doctors. They listen, they answer my questions and explains everything fully. I would not hesitate in recommending them to my friends

Thank you Dr. LaMotta! Following lower lumbar surgery, the only mild pain I have experienced is from the surgical incisions. The severe back problems that had led to leg numbness, restricted activity, and brutal pain are gone.I appreciate Dr. LaMotta’s professionalism and caring attitude from beginning to end. I would recommend this doctor to anyone experiencing serious back and/or neck issues.
