Absolutely horrible! I never leave reviews and not only did he not listen to me but he didn’t even hear me and my concerns. Completely brushed off! Do not recommend.

Dr. Hebbar is a true to the point doctor. He doesn’t talk around you or above and literally takes time with you, and frankly at his own cost. ( we all know the ten minute rule ). He can come off brash sometimes, but that’s part of his charm and once you warm you to his dry sense of humor, then you see how caring and compassionate he is. He gets stern, then will cut a joke before you leave. We pop off on each other sometimes, I’m stubborn and so is he, but if you want a complacent doctor who lets you go and revel in bad things, he isn’t it. Because he does care he watches you closely and stays on you in his own way. He tells you when you can do better and encourages when you do. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. He is perfectly imperfect and his staff is just like him and ..hey the put up with him..that’s says a lot.

Always willing to explain in detail any process or procedure so I am clear on everything from how the meds should work to any symptoms of something different going on with the body. I have been a patient with family medicine for over 25 years and Dr. Hebbar's patient for 10 plus years.

The above review must be disregarded. It illustrates how there is no such thing as real informed consent. I am a physician who chose this doctor based on his expertise from reputation and personal experience and would prefer none other and we as a profession are notoriously the most difficult to appease as patients.

My gynecologist suggested that I go to a primary care physician for GI issues and a significant recent increase in my blood pressure. Instead of going to the physician that she recommended I went to Dr. Hebbar because of the convenient location and ease of getting an appointment. This was a mistake. He is abrupt and totally unconcerned.
