Steven Tollison's Online Review Report Card

2 12 years ago my husband went to see Dr. Tomlinson concerning a couple of lumps on his collar bone. He sent him straight over to get a CT scan. Dr. said he would call him when he got the results. Since it was late in the afternoon we really didnt expect to hear anything that day. At about 8 p.m. Dr. Tomlinson called and asked whether it was ok to stop by our house to give us the results. We were shocked to say the least. When was the last time you got a house call from a doctor. He came over read us the report then explained it in our language . My husband is seeing an Oncologist in Charleston but whenever we get a PET Scan or MRI that we dont quite understand Dr. Tomlinson has always been very helpful in going over each sentence and explaining it all to us. Like I said before it has been 2 12 years if Dr. Tomlinson had not diagnosed this so quickly my husband most likely would not be here. He is 5 stars in our book

My visits with Dr Tomlinson were very pleasant. He always had time for me and he has always diagnosed me properly. And I have been very sick many times. After each exam before we finished he always asked if he could anything else for me. I would never go to anyone else unless forced to

Rhoda the secretary is very rude and nasty. Very unprofessional. Stay away from this office I pay too much money to be treated like this. Go to Dr. Allen. Much better experience.

Wonderful Doctor and good staff

Im not sure what all the noise bad reviews and criticism is about. Great guy that loves his job and genuinely cares about the health of his patients. Nothing wrong with neglecting to be the Traditional MD lacking a personality social skills and utilize advanced terminology during verbal communication the intellectually average patient doesnt understand. Can I understand the terminology? Most of it but that doesnt mean its necessary. If you waited 60+ I understand your frustration especially if you are elderly in age. Regardless thats no reason to leave a ONE STAR review. Its Kingstree Im 99.9% sure youve experienced worse medical visits. Most MDs patients businesses etc. are stuck in their old ways and I respect that but you have the option of where you want to be taken care of. A doctor thats authentic personable down to earth and doesnt sugarcoat their message? Or a MD trying to sell you on hisher professionalism lack generosity that leaves doubt in how much they actually care about YOUR health and usually uptight? Stick to the type of individual you trust Ill stick to my guy. Dr. Tomlinsons approach is ahead of its time and still just as qualified. Im a college student and being authentic means everything to people my age. Time will pass and these reviews will positively increase due to the transparency of Dr. Samuel J Tomlinson III’s true self. P.S. sorry for your wait.

Dr Sam has the best bed side manners of any Doctor that I’ve ever visited. And yes you will have to wait as with any doctor. However he will spend time understanding your situation and makes you feel as if you matter. I have read the negative reviews on here but in the 4 years that my family and I have been patients our experiences with him have been great.

Dr Tomlinson needs to be retrained he is not respectful of the time his patients waste sitting for hours and waiting for him. Then he doesnt do thorough exams instead hell waste time talking about the weather once he does come into the exam room. I think this is becoming the unjust treatment for most elderly patients in this rural area. Dr Tomlinson seems to be under the impression that people are uneducated and will accept his extreme tardiness of appointment times and non diagnosistreatment. Shame on him

The wait times are horrible over an hour and he says “oh we got ya in pretty quick”. Then he rushed me along. He didn’t follow through with referral. What a waste of 3 hours. I do not recommend.

Dr Samuel J. Tomlinson III is a big waste of time doesn’t seem knowledgeable about health care or patients at all. He was a huge disappointment don’t waste your time
