Mark Mataosky Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. M. Is great. I have all the faith in the world in him. His assistant is horrible. She does not promptly return calls, she’s not very knowledgeable and she can be rude. He would be doing himself justice if he got rid of her.

Dr Mark matoski for some reason in my first appointment that I had the chief complaint of bipolar and chest pain was listed last he didn't really listen to me in my appointment he only consented to the test that I asked for to get me out of the room I am not bipolar and I don't know why he put that as a diagnosis then he orders the wrong test I get there for the nuclear stress test and it's supposed to be the one that exercises my heart with the medication in the IV no treadmill I am deaf and called ahead to make sure that I could have someone in the room with me a support person not only because I read lips only but also because of my anxiety that was the Friday before the test the Monday when I got there Samantha isget the nuclear radiologist called me back there had an attitude when I told her I was deaf tried to speak behind her mask and then ask did you hear me and I said No and then she rolled her eyes and I'm like I could literally could not hear you that was the whole point and she concedes to let my support person go back there after I tell her I called ahead then she's questioning me with an attitude who I talk to and why I don't remember their name and how wrong it is to have somebody back there with me and against policy then she puts in my IV after again huffing and rolling her eyes because she couldn't put it in the right arm due to lymph nodes missing put it in my hand very roughly wouldnt scoot the table closer that my arm was Reaching Across so I could bend the wrist the way that I needed to she just forcefully did it instead and then she's explaining the test while she's Gathering supplies and I keep telling her it's the wrong test that's not the one me my support person and my doctor talked about she says well she's just going by the notes I catch her in a lie she tells me if I don't do the treadmill it won't get my heart rate and when I tell her there's no reason for me doing the test then I definitely want to go home this is the third time I've said I'm not doing any tests today take the IV out I'm going home I think she's coming back to take the IV out and instead she connects the nuclear medicine to my IV and I start screaming what the fk are you doing I told you I'm not doing the test today and she proceeds to hold me down with her forearm and her other hand on my fingers I was struggling and screaming for her to stop as well as my support person she proceeded to then connect a flush and flush the line then I was able to jerk my arm and pull out the IV she assaulted me she violated my consent which I withdrew three times and my support person even told her that we weren't doing the test today so that makes four times total that consent was withdrawn and she decided to do what the hll she wanted because she had a bad day and it was a Monday at 8:00 a.m. appointment she got to finish off the rest of her day while I'm having a PTSD episode spiraling out of control about violation of body consent just know that special needs people are not taken care of there if you say no they don't give a fk and they're going to protect their own erin Fargo said she saw everything the nurse manager in the hall now she and Samantha isgett are collaborating each other's story saying that I started cussing and got his hysterical and violence and pulled out my IV after they put the flush in and they had consent the whole time which is not what erin fargo told me when she sequestered me in a room to make me calm down and I was asking to call the police telling them i wanted to press charges rocking and shaking myself telling myself I was sorry for not protecting myself and she told me that she saw everything the nuclear radiologist did was wrong and she heard me revoke my consent many times and now they're just protecting each other I can't believe women violated me like this and are invalidating what really happened and trying to change actual history that happened she should lose her license and this never would have happened if the doctor actually listened to me and my appointment and wrote for the right test which eventually got sent to MUSC because I've been discharged from them from being a hazard to them

Dr. Mataosky was caring for my 86 year old mother. We were new to the area and referred to him. My mom liked him immediately. He made a minor change in her medication which did seem to help for about a year. However, as my mom’s health worsened the following year he took the approach, “ well, she’s 87. She’s getting older and yeah, she has congestive heart failure, but there’s nothing we can do about it. She’s just getting older.” My mom was dead approximately 5 weeks later.

I have experienced arrhythmia and was referred to Dr Matousky who ran tests and sent me to a great specialist. I've seen Dr. Matousky several times in the past few years and always had a pleasant experience. He is thorough and follows up on his patients.

A caring individual. A doctor I have confidence in. His diagnostic expertise helped pull me out of a tough spot. Thanks Doc!

I had an angioplasty performed yesterday at Trident hospital. It was without a doubt the worst experience of my life. Dr. Mataosky has the bedside manner of Hitler. I endured the entire procedure completely awake . The medication I was given was supposed to leave me awake, but sedated enough that I would not feel anything. Well that was not my experience. I was totally awake, felt everything I was screaming and crying and what did my Doctor do to answer my stress.. Nothing, I was told to calm down and breath in through my nose and it would help. It felt like I was having bamboo shoved under my finger nails. It is my opinion that Dr. Mataosky should be a prison Doctor. If I were to have any further complications concerning my heart and he was the only dr available in the world to treat me. I would call my Veterinarian Dr Miller first. He couldn't do any worse and being the compassionate person he is I'm certain he would not allow me to experience the horrific ordeal that I experienced at the hand of Dr Mataosky yesterday. I would not recommend Dr. Mataosky to anyone that I cared about. I feel sorry for any and all of his current and future clients.
