List of Nathan Averill's Reviews
Absolutely awful. I waited for a chronic disease medication for THREE MONTHS. I ended up calling his office everyday for those three months and everyone I talked to was confused on how to help me. I simply needed him and his team to do their job and send over a prescription that would have taken 5 minutes. But instead I had to figure out their jobs and do them myself. Never working with these people again.
I’m literally burning up with a fever since Saturday called at 1130 am on Wednesday to not get a return call until 24 hours later 104.1 fever Finally on phone she processed to set up a telehealth appointment I am on day 5 of no food barely able to walk and raised my voice to explain the urgency again and she hung up on me THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE THE COMPUTER KEPT FREEZING WORST EXPERIENCE OF A MEDICAL TEAM IN MY LIFE
Dr Averill is a very good doctor. My son who is a Special Needs Adult has been going to Dr. Averill for years and he is wonderful with my son. I recommend Dr Averill especially with Special Needs. We are very happy with Dr. Averill. I have took my son to other doctors in the past and we werent very happy but when we started seeing Dr. Averill he has been very kind very patient and does everything he can to help my son. I wish we could give him more stars. Thankyou Dr. Averill for all you do for my son. Elaine
I went in and waited for 45 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Dr. Averill came in with a student and didnt even say anything about being late or apologize. I overheard him apologize to another patient he saw before me. I asked him to examine my eye and he said he didnt see the issue I was describing and didnt feel the raw area. I tried to show him and have him look again. He said I can just go get a second opinion or he can just prescribe something for me not knowing or seeing what I was trying to show him. He has a bad bedside manner and seemed more irritated with just listening. I didnt wait over 45 minutes and pay money just to be treated like that. He had quite an attitude and horrible demeanor. This kind of person should not be dealing with patients.

I originally saw Dr Averill for the 1st time in 2012. Prior to that I was under his his PA Emilys care at BFP. She moved to CO. wher spouse 🙁. Dr. Averill is a VERY nice Physician His staff are all exactly the same way. Lovely Ladies I followed him from BFP to PPCP Iron Horse Rd. However if youre looking for a Doctor thats going to sugar coat things. Hes probably not the Doctor for you. He will and does give it to you straight. Unlike most Drs now a days. He DOES care about your medical needs. FYI Needs and Bedside manner are 2 different things. His bedside manner is awesome He will DEFINITELY meet those Obviously this is my own personal experience. I cant see him switching faces so to speak with each patient though. Granted Ive had my medical issues over the last 41 yrs. So maybe because he knows my medical history he knows Im a she can take it type of women so hes honest wme. At 1st I thought too brutally honest. lol Over the yrs tho. Ive come to respect him profoundly because he doesnt talk to me as tho Im a child or that I dont understand the severity of some situations. If this is the type of Doc youre looking for MAKE an appointment IDK tho wthe whole Covid thing if hes taking New Patients a phone call never hurts anyone. The worst they can say is sorry..No were not at the moment due to Coronavirus. I hope this aides you in the looking for a new Doc process. Thats why I got so descriptive. Its hard to know after just a few short words. 😀 Not to mention Im former server of 17 yrs. Talking is just in my nature. lol
Could not have asked for anything more. He was patient kind attentive and competent.
Made me wait 40 minutes to be seen. Made it feel as my time is not important. When I go in for medical care I expect my experience to be professional and in a timely manner. Im the paying customer and this Dr. Has clearly forgotten that..
Dr.Averill is a caringfriendly and knowledgeable doctor. His office staff are friendly and always happy to help.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
