List of Lowcountry Urgent Carelady's Island's Reviews
Receptionist could care less about my situation - cut (lacerated finger). “We don’t do those.” She said maybe someone could look at it. I said okay. She said but all the room are booked now. We went to take a seat and repeated that. I said well a room will open at some point correct. Yeah but it’s like a 2 hour wait. Choices, their other urgent care (because this one is so great) or the ER with a 4 hour wait.I might as well been talking to a doorknob. Unsympathetic, uncaring, unhelpful, discourteous. Will not be going there again.
I've experienced both top-tier medical services and absolutely horrible care over many years and in multiple cities, and Lowcountry Urgent Care on Lady's Island is certainly in the lower echelon. I made an appointment, arrived on time, and was told there would be a two-hour wait (nullifying the entire point of making an appointment). I left for a brief errand and returned only to wait another 40 minutes before being escorted to the exam room. The whole visit took over two hours, and while the nurses were very nice (the only saving grace), the way this facility is being run is extremely lacking. It is not very patient-friendly and, if you can, I would suggest you go elsewhere for your care.
Very courteous and thorough good experience and didn’t have to be there for four to six hours!
The staff here are very friendly and informative. It is a “Walk-In” clinic so appointment times are not alway accurate, but they get to everyone in a timely manner
We waited one hour and 45 minutes past our "appointment" for my daughter who had a cough from a cold. We waited in the car for 1 hour past her appointment and then my 2 daughters and I waited for 45 minutes in the room. My youngest daughter 18 months, who was not being seen, started breaking out in hives. We still hadn't seen a doctor at almost 2 hours waiting. I made the decision to leave because at this point it was almost dinner time and I needed to go get Benadryl for my daughter. I told the front desk that we couldn't wait anymore and we needed to go. She responded with well you still need to pay us. I asked if we could reschedule for tomorrow and she told me no. This will be our last visit there! I have always had good experiences there but we will not be visiting them again.
The staff was knowledgeable. They did everything they could do and then sent me to the er.
Had a very uncomfortable situation made to feel comfortable.
Terrible experience. Made us sign in twice. Digitally at their check in machine, and verbally at the counter. Didn't ask us any questions about why we were there. Told us there was a 90min wait. We waited 90 minutes and went inside for an update. She told us it would be another 90 minutes, when nobody had come or gone! And they also decided to now tell us the xray machine wasn't working, when we were in for a fracture. All we needed was an xray! Terrible internal and external communication. Wasted our 1 hour drive and 90 minute wait. Wouldn't trust them for medical help after that experience.
Very professional and caring staff. Front desk lady was so kind and even helped me upload my insurance cards to my phone!!! Even when you feel blue, they make you feel better. Thank you!!!
Nurse practitioner was so compassionate considering the pain I was in. She let me ask questions and explained everything in a manner I could understand. I couldn’t have asked for better care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
