Caromont Urgent Care - Lake Wylie's Online Review Report Card

This facility is run by the hacks. They tried to get as much money out of me as possible by asking me to do a test I knew didn’t need when I already knew what I had. My parents had the same thing and went to a different urgent care so I already knew what to expect. They finally agreed to give me antibiotics but were deceptive. Instead of giving me the normal prescription dose like my parents got for the same exact sickness (1000 mg per day), they gave me 125 mg per day to get revenge on me for not taking their tests I didn’t need as those tests have risks to them. Furthermore, they didn’t check my lungs with a stethoscope etc until AFTER they tried to get me to do testing. So they were trying to suggest things before I was even examined fully. What a bunch of quacks!!! Then when I didn’t go along with their trying to force me to do things with which I wasn’t comfortable, the nurse said she didn’t like the way I spoke to her. Keep in mind that I am a very calm person and was very calm and kind in asking to not participate in their testing. She said this just so she could protect herself from lawsuits after trying to force her will on me as a patient.

The Doctor Pam is great but the support staff and lab services are horrible.Had urine culture - no results. 10 days - sill no result.When calling for follow up I was told I'm not the only patient.Services billed to insurance with out the service and or results.Staff member refused to give her name, and was very rude.

worst service. such a shame that this “professional” business treats their patients like this. absolutely disrespectful.

I wish I could leave zero stars. This office is the worst. Don’t waste your time.

I was very impressed with our experience at this location. The facility was clean, everyone was very kind and patient with my 2 year old. I would definitely come here again.

They were incredibly helpful and caring towards my whole family when we all got Covid in November 2021. I'm grateful for them and to have had them close by.

These women… I don’t even have the words for the compassion I was shown the other day. I made an online appointment and I got there early and they took me right in… Brooke and Doctor Holly made sure I could afford to be seen… I was in SO much pain.. This place, they don’t care about your money. This staff TRULY cares about you as a human… I can’t express enough gratitude..

Based on the prior reviews, I was a little skeptical about the experience I would receive at this urgent care office. I am pleased to say that my entire experience was top notch, so the only thing I can assume is that with this being a new facility, they had some kinks to work out in their system.I was so sick the week before Thanksgiving. Concerned what I had may actually be bronchitis or strep throat, I made an appt to rule both out. From the moment I called, the receptionist was really pleasant and kind. The check in process was smooth and streamlined. The nurse was kind and patient. The PA - thorough and proficient. They ran a COVID test along with the strep test - the lab tech called me with the negative results on both - and followed up 2 days later after they sent the strep test out for further evaluation. Even the lab tech conveyed care and concern - he actually asked me how I was feeling and if my symptoms had improved! HMMM! How considerate of him!As someone who works in healthcare, I have very high standards when it comes to the patient experience. CaroMont Urgent Care in Lake Wylie surpassed every expectation I had. Thank you to the entire team!!
