Dr. O’Malley did a wonderful job on my mother need. She was up and walking less than a month.

Dr O’malley just did a total knee replacement for me he did a great job and my knee is like new again.

Dr O'Malley performed rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder, after about 7 months it now works better than ever (improved my golf swing to boot!). Dr O'Malley clearly demonstrated top knowledge of this procedure and considering he only does shoulders, knees and hips, I am not surprised at his skills. My interactions with the doctor reveal him to be of highest integrity.

For the office staff I give 5 stars for being the messenger of Dr. OMalley who performed my right knee replacement less than 5 years ago. I had no problems until two weeks ago when it made this loud crack with intense pain and it was out of place and locked up. Terrible pain and suffering. I couldn’t bear weight so my hubby had to come in and gently pull down on my leg and we heard a loud pop and it was back in place. I called the dr office and was told he was on vacation and could not be seen for almost 2 weeks. My appt was made for the 26th of February . In that time frame the knee did the same thing with excruciating pain 3 other times. I was called from the office to confirm my appointment and I had to change due to a transport issue the 26th so it was then changed to the 28th. Then later that day the 26 th I was called again to confirm appt on the 28th. So when I actually showed for my appointment I was given the paperwork and handed them my insurance cards. The gal that was taking care of me was very nice . She then called me back to the desk and asked me if I was aware of a balance due .i told her no and was quite surprised to know I had a balance since I received nothing from them. She indicated it went to collection and I never received notice from collection. She then went back to Dr OMalley who. Then refused to see me unless it was paid saying it was policy . So his staff violated policy by never advising me of the balance previous to the appointment as far as I’m concerned. I gladly told them I would pay and attempted payment plan. They refused. It’s not like most people can show up for an appointment not knowing they owe , and have 486.00 in their pocket, after my insurance paid almost 9000.00 for the surgeon that was the remaining amount due apparently . I never saw the bill so I can’t tell you what it was for. After having this situation I concluded that Dr. OMalley has double standards with “policy” and does not care if his patients are suffering from a surgery he performed and advised that the “knee replacement” would last up to 20 years- it lasted 5 years . I will never return to see this doctor or anyone at this practice because money is obviously more important than the patient and even in a situation where this is something that should not happen to a knee replace,ent when all you do is sit down or stand up and it comes out of place. My shin bone was sitting behind my thigh bone when this occurred. Very painful and excruciating not to mention being afraid to go anywhere for fear it will happen somewhere and I will be incapacitated . If you stuck around to read this review you wil know that I’m giving the doctor a big zero for a rating, just call me “ duped by an uncaring doctor”

He is a very busy doctor but worth waiting for. Very competent.

I had an appointment at Dr. O'Malleys office and overall, everything was great. The staff was very polite, and appoligized numerous times when I showed up for my appointment only to be told it had to be rescheduled due to an emergency surgery. When it came time for my appointment, the doctor greeted me and my wife both but I didn't care much for his attitude. I suffered an injury to my hand at work and when doing some physical therapy exercises with him he acted like I was a little kid saying things like "its ok, you can move your fingers, I give you permission." In reality, it took a minute for me to ball my fist and extent my fingers, etc because it HURT not because I was afraid or anything like that. As I said, the staff is great, the atmosphere is cozy but O'Malley needs a refresher course in how to interact with his patients.

This doctor misdiagnosed my husband twice. The second time he tried to tell my husband that there was "nothing wrong except for some normal degeneration" of the discs. My husband (per the neurosurgeon) has 3 ruptured and herniated discs. O'Malley spent maybe 5 minutes per appointment with my husband and when questions were asked, an attitude riddled with contempt came shining through. The office staff is so terrific, you have to feel bad for the way they are treated by the dr in front of patients. This doctor is horribly unprofessional and an outright idiot.

Dr. O' Malley is great! He knew exactly how to take care of my broken wrist for my line of work. He talked to me got to know a little bout me and went from there on what to do for me. He could have just threw a cast on me and just sent me on my merry way but he actually cares for his patients and does what is best for the problem not for short term fix but for life term fix. He very nice, in person and on the eyes...lol. =)
