I went to Loris Hospital on 1122021 and had a operation . I had never been there but I did not really look forward to going there because of some things I have seen about the town. I walk in the door at 630 and was greeted by the security guard who was as nice as he could be and went upstairs to the floor where I was to stay and was greeted by the nurses. Every person there was professional with a great attitude and willing to help in any way. I would give this staff a 10 in every category. These are truly a great bunch of people who care and it shows.

I was admitted through the ER and was delirious with a fever of 104 from a bladderkidney infection I had . I will make a long story short with a few points. 1 My HIPPA RIGHTS WERE VIOLATED when DR. CHAD BUFKIN spoke with my oldest daughter and gave her ALL MY INFORMATION and then he partially based my care and my DX on my daughter s opinion . Of course he believed her instead of my husband which is insane because my diagnosis were either wrong or missing so much so that he listed me as having a seizure disorder when I have never had a seizure ... I need to ad that my daughters and I were slowly trying to rebuild our relationship . I havent had a relationship with them in 10 years so trying to rebuild it over the last 3 years was going slow . Dr. Chad Buffkin s Hippa Slip has caused a COMPLETE BREAKDOWN of trust so now the relationship is permanently Broken and will never be fixed. His carelessness ruined my life.

I had my mammogram there earlier this year. And everyone from check in to nurses radiologist etc were awesome. The wait time was very short. The hospital every where was exceptional clean. Exceptional care. Very pleased.

If you can just dont go you will leave still in pain. I sat there for an hour for pain meds and got prescribed something Im not even supposed to mix with my other meds that Im currently taking that I can buy over the counter. Try Grand Strand Health its the better choice might be a longer wait but well worth it.

This is the slowest hospital I have ever seen. This beats them all. Six hour wait in the emergency room with no one in the waiting room. I complained on the waiting time and was given the runaround by staff. Will never go here agai nor recommend it to anyone.

This was an awful experience worst hospital ever you have to wait like 3 hrs before they see you if it’s a life or death situation so not go there

I just spent 2 weeks in loris hospital the staff that took care of me are some of the best I have ever seen if not for the nurses who took care of me I would not be here now. Thanks to each and everyone of you. May God bless you all for everything that you give of your self.

The staff at McLeod Hospital Loris were phenomenal during my 16 yo sons overnight visit. This is the water bottle cap the surgeon retrieved from halfway down his esophagus.
