I wanted to take the time to say “Thank you” to nurse Jessica and staff for taking such great care of my mother. This past Thursday she was transported to your hospital with severe Covid symptoms. She has cancer in her lungs and has all the comorbidities. That morning I just knew that Covid was going to take her away from here. Because of your fast action and great care she is feeling so much better and is on her way to making a full recovery. ❤️ She told me how sweet everyone treated her. That means so much to me. It is very hard and a feeling of helplessness when you cannot be by your mother’s side to care for her. I am forever grateful. 💖
This place is still a joke. An hr wait just to get xrays. Have an Order but they wont tell you that the ER patients come first and there is a wait. Well it would be nice to know before sitting a hr and everyone else that came in after you goes back thats sitting in radiology. I wouldnt take my dying dog to this place Oh and if its major just be prepared to go elsewhere because they arent equipped to take care of something thats too big
I went to McLeod manning my hand was hurting real bad. I arrive at 8pm by 10 I’m still sitting there I’d to ask a nurse if they were going to call me to go back as if all the other people after me have gotten waiting on she put me in a room close the curtain walk away never cam back to check on me so time pass I got up walk out ask another nurse was someone coming by this time my hand is so swollen I can’t take the pain. They just left me sitting there not carrying what went on with me two broken finger latter I’m finally home no help from McLeod Clarendon Your truly Rose M Brown I’ll be checking my insurance company tomorrow to see if they charge for me sitting in the waiting area 😡
MHC is a vital part of our community. I think a few changes will make it better. The reception at the main entrance was stressful due to a lady boss distracting her workers at the desk greeting patients. Why preregistering is not validated since I had to repeat the same information at check in. That process made me late for my appointment. The pre recorded telephone message to confirm a scheduled appointment is not completed . The first part of the message omits the person s name. This should make a positive impact .
Communication skills needs clarity. Preregistering shouldnt have to repeat the same information at check in...delays lateness of appointment already scheduled. Second the confirmation phone call recording message to patient is not clear.
Recently I was admitted to this hospital. The care I received was second to none. My doctor Dr. Rosich was so professional and knowable in his field of cardiology that I felt I was in a good place. The nurses and med techs were also fantastic in giving me the care I needed. The rooms are spotless and kept that way your full stay. The food wasnt that bad and that has to say something about the hospital. lol Put trust in Mcleod and their staff to get you through at the time of most need. Thank you all to the staff A special thanks to med tech Brenda W. she is such a wonderful person and tech. She was with me during the worst of my stay and her positive and cheerful personality relaxed me so I could get past the trouble I was having. Thanks All
People on the phone are nice but the service at the hospital is horrible I waited 5 hours to get help after bleeding blood while pregnant I was 21 weeks around this time they made me wait hours plus when I seen the nurse she was nice and the doctor but the upstairs doctor was rude and nasty and told me stop coming hereif you live in Sumter she wasn’t professional and she had an attitude but the nurse and down stairs doctor was nice but I wouldn’t come her if you need help ASAP they take things as a joke …
I just wanted to a GREAT hospital. My moms blood pressure went up very high and the hospital in Sumter wasn’t able to help her and discharge her. I brought her here and they gave her A+ treatment and evaluated her until her pressure drop to normal. Thank you guys for everything
Just want to put it out there... I am from PA and was down in Summerton visiting my inlaws. I had to go to the ER for unmanageable pain for cervical radiculopathy. I too had Dr. Steven Nathanson and yes while he was short with me.. he was very quick and honest in what his limitations are as being an ER Dr. I would like to include that the only reason I went to the ER is I dont have access to a PCP here in South Carolina. I also have Medicare so I knew a hospital visit would be covered vs an urgent care.jow what I can tell you is Dr Nathanson really seemed to know his stuff without me even having to show him my test results from PA. He treated the issue helped the best he could and sent me on my way. Id give him 5 stars just because he didnt have to do anything for my pain and he didnt waste hours upon hours doing testing that will just lead the a surgical result that I cant get in south Carolina.Thank you Dr. Nathanson. And again... Im sorry I came to the ER for a nonlife threatening emergency
Came 62921 around 7am the woman at the front desk is very rude she don’t greet you When speaking she speak with attitude when telling people they can go back and it’s more then one she say with shady attitude “just one” Will never return

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
