Dr. Joyners office sent a bill to the wrong address in Atlanta GA. 12 times for 12 months. I dont live in Atlanta GA. I live where his practice is located in Mount Pleasant South Carolina. Instead of lifting the phone up and calling me to ask me why I was not paying the bill. Which I never received and was the patient portion of the bill or approx. $160.00. His office reported me to a collection agency and it went on my credit report. Im 70 years old and my entire life have paid every bill that was owed. If I were looking for a urologist in Mount Pleasant South Carolina then I would go to another doctor.
Dr Joyner is fabulous I was referred to him and previously had a bad experience with another gastroenterologist. Dr Joyner has a great personality. He always makes me feel comfortable takes his time and is very thorough. Procedures have always gone smoothly I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else I highly recommend him.
Dr. Joyners practice has the emotional maturity of a 9 year old. Dr. Joyner performed a routine colonoscopy on me 10 years ago 5 years later my internist prescribed another doc it was routine who cared? When my current internist prescribed a routine colonoscopy with Dr. Joyners practice he refused to see me since I had left his practice. Seriously? Does Dr. Joyner take his bat and ball and storm home when the other kids refuse to let him play first base?

I have seen 5 GI Docs in this area and Dr. Joyner is without a doubt the best. He is highly professional and knowledgeable. He helped me when other doctors couldn’t. He and his whole staff are very caring and thoughtful. They all take tome to explain procedures and answer questions. I would give Dr. Joyner and staff my highest recommendation.
I am picky about doctors. Went to two other GI docs before finding Dr. Joyner. Highly appreciate his manner. Was completely comfortable with him and office staff. Did not feel rushed as he spent time going through my past medical history. Highly recommend.
Dr. Joyner has been my doctor for over 20 years he is truly a caring Doctor and a nice person. He explains things well and I trust his judgment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
