List of Rahn Ravenell's Reviews
I had an awful ingrown toenail and I was so happy Dr. Ravenell was able to take care of it for me. I was in and out of there quick and he made sure I felt comfortable the whole time!
Ravenell performed a bunion removal surgery, aka "standard procedure, everything will be alright, I do these every day", on me. Fast forward six months and a slew of x-rays, I was reassured that the foot was healing perfectly and the screw implant was holding up. Except it started to back out rapidly. During the follow-up appointment Ravenell was totally disinterested, told me he used the particular kind of screw because "the hospital's bottomline" wouldn't benefit from a bioabsorbable screw since "we are talking about a difference of a couple of hundred and a thousand". Like, anyone bothered to ask me what my bottomline would benefit from or whether I could pay for the better implant. I was told the office would follow up with me to schedule a 2nd surgery. The follow up was a call straight to my voicemail approximately a month after the visit. Meanwhile the screw keeps backing out. If you need your toenails clipped, he might be able to help, but other than that check your options.
This man is incredibly arrogant and dismissive. He does not listen to the patient and then proceeds to talk down to and deny any culpability. His office staff is equally as incompetent and dismissive. Clearly from the othe comments posted here, this doctor should not be treating patients. Really a horrible experience.
Took my elderly father there to get his toenails clipped did a sorry job he also had toe fungus did not mention anything about the toe fungus very poor doctor I would not recommend him to anybody
Would not recommend him to anybody negative rating
I found him to be extremely polite and he took a lot of time explaining and answered all of my questions. He did. It rush my appointment. I was very impressed.
Dr. Ravenell has been consistently unprofessional and disrespectful. His attitude towards me was from the start dismissive and disinterested. He barely examined my toe nails, and then took a biopsy of one nail using an unsterile pair of scissors from his pocket. On my second visit he was more congenial, and I was willing to forgive him the first visit (perhaps he'd had a bad day, though still not acceptable to treat patients that way). Subsequently, however, getting a Rx or a refill proved to be fraught with difficulties: he delayed sending the Rx in to the pharmacy; he then sent it in to the wrong pharmacy; he refused (without explanation) to include any refills - repeatedly; he ignored a request to increase the volume dispensed to ensure continuity of treatment; he ignored my request to please just call me to explain what is going on. This is simply offensive and unacceptable care.
Out of touch with the patients. Bum procedure.
Dr. RAVENELL is very patient, educated, and gentle. Did a great job on my ingrown nail.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
