Dr. Bubba replaced my hip in 2009 and I feel like its my own hip
DrGilmore performed a bilateral take on me 11 years ago. The quality of my life changed 100% for the better. It was life changing. He gave me a life free of chronic pain and restored my mobility. My life is so full and active. There is very little I can’t do. I’m forever grateful to him.
He botched a hip replacement almost 6 years ago and the result of his failure to reattach the gluteus medius and further failure to diagnosis his mess up for 3 months led to an irreparable very painful limp which has misaligned my body very badly. He doesnt deserve 1 star unless its a num chuk
Dr. Gilmore replaced both of my hips about four years ago and I couldnt be happier with his work. I was all but unable to walk then he did the surgery and I was walking without any crutches walker or cane i less than two weeksafter some physical therapy. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the whole process and I would definitely recommend him for any related surgery.
Gillmore is awesome. He doesnt talk down to you and explains things well. I recommend him for any related conditions you have or surgeries you may need
I am suffering from his negligence in reattaching a tendon in a total hip replacement. He went for months just giving me pain pills and not paying attention to my extreme limp which I had to go to another dr. to tell me it was a Trendelenburg Gait and altho there was an attempt to repair it was too late due to Gilmore.
Oh my. After reading the other reviewer’s horrific experience I felt the need to speak up. Dr Gilmore also crippled me over ten years ago when he failed to stabilize a an intraoperative trochanteric fracture that took place during my my hip replacement surgery that he performed. I still suffer today with pain deformity and ongoing biomechanical issues in walking. Think twice about using him as an orthopedic surgeon.
Because of Waddell Gilmores failure to adequately secure a gluteus medius tendon six years ago I am increasing crippled and in pain. By the time I found out from another doctor the tissue had deteriorated and became unreparable.
Dr. Gilmore used poor surgicalmedical judgement in my case during an intraoperative trochanteric fracture that took place during my total hip replacement procedure. The result of Dr. Gilmore’s actions and subsequent denial of injury caused me to have permanent disability and ongoing pain sadly even a decade after the incident. I still suffer every day. Despite taking a course of legal action to hold Dr. Gilmore accountable I was advised by legal counsel of the “complex overlapping and incestuous” societies in the medicallegal community that exists and interferes within the legal system of Charleston SC. I am grateful for the platforms that exist on the Internet today such as this so that patients who have suffered injury can be heard and can speak up and call warning to others. At this point nothing can change for me despite multiple surgeries by other physicians. But if any good can come about it is this...I advise anyone considering surgery to think twice about using Dr. Gilmore as their orthopedic surgeon. Unfortunately complications can arise during surgery but when and if they do you want to have the assurance that your surgeon knows how to deal with problems and is trained and able to handle them.
I know of many patients he has damaged.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
