I want to say I was very anxious going into my second knee replacement.I had the surgery at Mt. Pleasant Hospital about 1 mth ago and I am recovering as expected if not ahead of the game. My experience with the nurses and the anesthesiologist and Dr. Carroll was exceptional. I have to give them all a 5 star. It was the most pain free smooth surgery and preop surgery I have experience. The anesthesiologist surprised me the most.The only reason I gave a 4 star rating is because I am still recovering. I just hope I can keep me flexion after the 6mths. or so. I chose the Roboticsurgery because it is the most exact way of doing the proceedure.Also I noted the previous hospitalsurgeon i had for my 1st knee replacement is also doing robotics. I am also very glad I did not endure a staples removal. Thanks Dr. Carroll for all you do. I want to give you a 5 star but I know that also has to do with my part with the PT

I experienced a very positive kind and professional physician and staff. I highly recommend Dr. Carroll as well as the entire surgical team at Roper in Mt. Pleasant.

I had a nasty bicycle accident leaving me with a collar bone shattered in 5 pieces. Dr. Carroll did an incredible surgery to fixate all the pieces with steel plates and screws. 3 months later the bones are healing well. He takes all the time needed to answer all the recovery questions I had explained how he did the procedure and told me all about how bones regrow and heal. Both he and his office staff are credits to their profession.

Dr. Carroll is an extraordinary surgeon and cares about his patients. He has taken care of my knee and shoulder and I would return to him in the future if surgery is needed.

I have had two surgeries with Dr. Carroll as the surgeon shoulder repair and knee repair. Dr Carroll always has time to explain the surgery and what can be expected afterward. He takes time to go over the recovery and what was found during surgery and options going forward. He is an excellent surgeon and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Dr. Carroll is one of the best orthopedic physicians I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He’s very knowledgeable in his field of practice has awesome bedside manner is very friendly and takes time to listen and understand all of your concerns.I would highly recommend him and his awesome staff to anyone with an orthopedic problem
