I had to go to Charleston Imaging Center for an MRI of my lumbar spine. Before arriving for my appointment, I was in communication with Lauran H. on the phone and e-mail. She was very professional, ensured all of my questions were answered prior to my appointment, and she was very timely in getting back to me. It was nice to finally meet her on the day of my appointment. The MRI technician, Judith, was also very professional and kind during the day of my visit. I was nervous about my scan because I expected to be going in feet first instead of head first. Unfortunately, I had to go in head first (FYI, you can't go in feet first at that facility apparently), and my scan lasted approximately one hour. I told her I was nervous about this, and she ensured me that she would keep me comfortable. Judith agreed to talk to me and check in with me throughout the procedure, which she did. This made me feel so much more comfortable and at ease during the experience. She also made sure I was comfortable inside the machine, chatted with me about my dog, and kindly burned me a CD copy of my scan to keep on record. Overall, I highly recommend Charleston Imaging Center for any of your imaging needs. If I ever need imaging in the future, I will definitely go here. I came from 5 hours away in North Carolina. The drive was worth it, and I would do it again.

This was my second cervical spine injection administered by Dr Goltra assisted by Amy. My first one lasted almost a year and a half. Both were very professional and caring. Kelly went above and beyond in trying to get autherization from my insurance. I would highly recommend Charleston Imaging.

I had to see Dr. G due to an issue that was discovered during my annual eye exam. I can honestly recommend Charleston Imaging due to the staff and physician (Dr. G) because throughout the entire process (initial contact after referral to procedure and aftercare) the proper expectations were set. Each staff member was extremely professional and knowledgeable about each inquiry that I had. I am very grateful that I chose this facility for my care and highly recommend.

The Imaging center for MRI's is clean and tiny. The medical staff which handles the patients are very nice and professional. But the female receptionist is a matter of fact ice queen, with a rude disposition. We noticed this when we arrived early for check in. But it wasn't personal, she treated further incoming patients with her Stalin type welcome. After leaving said location, I realized I had not requested or received a doctors excuse for my child. I called back and requested one be faxed. She informed me my child had already came back in to retrieve one. Which was impossible, since my child was riding with me. She explained to me she was too busy with a patient to do it now. She would do it later. That's the same thing she told me when I entered the building for the first time. But it gets better. The fax never was sent. So once again I called in and was told it would be done by another person.It never happened. I called in again, and spoke with her once more, and she said she was busy with a patient and would call me back. I called once again and with a rasp voice she handed over the phone to a gentlemen. He tried to fax, technical errors first try. Which he called me. Technical errors I understand. I sent him a fax, and he received. So he re faxed and it was successful. The only issue here is one female desk receptionist with a bad attitude and a constant response of I'm busy with a patient, whether your their or on the phone. But in her defense, she doesn't just target one person. She's a joyful basket of sunshine for everyone. Not! Also I'm adding that the young gentlemen did call and confirm I received the fax, and he was courteous. His counterpart could learn a lot from him.

I would not use any other imaging center for diagnostic imaging than Charleston Imaging Center. The staff is amazing and the radiologists are actively engaged in all diagnoses, partnering with technicians to provie the most accurate results. I was on a business trip thousans of miles away in Seattle, Washington when I experienced a health issue that required a MRI. The team at Charleston Imaging Center worked with me remotely to ensure my insurance was pre-certified and was ready for me when I arrived back in Charleston. They also expertly applied an image-guided pain management technique that brought immediate relief. It is without hesitationi that I recommend Charleston Imaging Center.
