Want to give a shoutout to Adam head of security. He was extremely helpful courteous and had a great demeanor when he was shouldered with an unexpected burden. He spent over 2 hours of his time helping me around the hospital when he didnt have to do so. Thank you for your efforts and dedication

Wife had knee replacement here on Tuesday and we left on Wednesday. The staff was courteous timely and very professional. The food was excellent and served warm. Our experience at ECM couldn’t have been any better.

I am having the worst experience right now. I just got jaw surgery 8 hours ago its 145am and I am in so much pain. My machine keeps beeping I asked the nurse to turn the lights down so I could sleep and the second she closed the door they blasted back on to the brightest they could go. I called for help but she didnt return. Everytime I press the button to call the nurse whoever answers acts like Im a ridiculous burden and then it takes the nurse 30 minutes to get to me if they come at all. Sometimes I have to call twice. This was a major major surgery and I should not be treated like an afterthought. This is an absolute nightmare.

This hospital is a great place for any procedures that you may need to have done. It is very clean and staff are all very helpful.

ECMC rehab facility is clean. Staff are nice and good. Unfortunately the doctor and therapists did not seem capable enough. They go through motion rather than taking professional ethics and responsibilities for patients seriously. They discharged my husband when he is not well enough to be home. We went back to the ER right next day after experiencing severe pain.

The ppl. at registration just need to get their act together. They called me on the phone the day before my appt. To preregister and then I had to wait almost 40 mins to get registered when I went for appt. I was late for my second appt. So 8 dont understand why they do an preregistration if one has to register again in person. I do have to say they were very nice polite and friendly.The CT guy was so rude and unfriendly Didnt say a word to me Not a hello goodbye not a one word He even had another person situate me on the table for the CT. The whole experience was not great.But Id rather have the ppl of registration that were slow BUT very kind then that CT guy that was fast BUT rude and treated me as he was just too good to come down to earth to talk to a patient. I left that CT room feeling very upset and disappointed in the hospital that would not train their employees to be kind empathetic and considerate to the patients that at times just need a smile 😃God Bless

I called this morning inquiring about a doctor and I spoke with a woman named Shaunte. She really went out of her way to help me and I really appreciated her kindness and patience. Thank you Shaunte

The staff is super attentive professional and very polite. I would recomend to anyone. I had spine surgery and stayed on the 4th floor and couldnt be happier with my experience. Im from Columbia but made the trip here after negative results in the columbia area.

I have had a horrible experience at East Cooper Hospital for the past three days. I am shocked that a hospital in our community operates with employees who have little competence and zero compassion. This is to include specialists who were called for fake examinations. This also includes their security service. I am seeking writers editors to write an account of the shocking events. I wish to give accounts of my experience to the Nextdoor web site in all of Mt. Pleasant SC and Daniel Island as well as to the Post and Courier newspaper in Charleston SC. I will be composing a report immediately.
