My husband was a patient there about a little over a year ago was the last time he was seen. He had been there several times before but was now referred back by our GP. We called to make an appointment and was told since he had not been seen in over a year, they considered him a “new patient “ and they were not taking any new patients even though he had been seen there many times. Our GP called and was told the same thing so now we have to search for another diabetes specialist. Does not make sense.

Wait times are terrible. Nurses never call back. You have to keep calling. Receptionist doesn't understand what your talking about. I requested an insulin pen. She told me I would be contacted same day. I called back at end of day. I said i need to pickup a long lasting insulin pen. Receptionist said we don't have assistance for you but if you need a pen we can give you one. I said that's what I asked for this morning. Very frustrating office. Looking for a new clinic.

It is like going back in time with medical appointments. You show up plenty early being warned that if you are 15 minutes late your appointment will be canceled, you sit there and sit there and sit there, the waiting room empties two times with people arriving and being taken in to see the doctor and they have arrived after your appointment time. No notification from the receptionist. 20 minutes after your appointment time I was alone in the waiting room. I looked out and the parking lot was just about empty. Even though I had checked in, somehow I was missed. The receptionist could not offer an explanation or an apology. I did not have time to wait and chose not to be treated like that. I requested an beginning of the day appointment. Meanwhile, I am looking for a new doctor. Who has control of scheduling? Not me. Who took responsibility? No one.
