Horrible emergency staff!! They gossip more then take care of the patient. I was there for 4 hours and not one bit of information to what was wrong with me!! I will not recommend them to anyone

I visited the ER due to excruciating pain from a migraine. I made the severity of the pain known to the staff and the pain was so obvious that even another patient attempted to get help for me I understand triage and I understand that they were very busy, but to let me suffer for over 6 hours was cruel and inexcusable. I was told that there would be a wait of a "couple hours". I never dreamed I would be there for 8 hours in total. DO NOT GO TO THIS ER EVER!

Most of the Doctors at Tidelands hospitals Er departments should not be allowed to practice medicine and thay brake there oath to do no harm. some can't even follow the peer review literature. The doctors love to put false claims and lie in there patients reports. How there even able to keep practice medicine blows my mind. Most be bad management from the top. There is always staffing issues so patients are left with 4 to 6 to 12 hour wait times just to be seen by a er doctor even when there isn't many people at there Er department also many people have fallen out just waiting to be seen by a Er doctor there. I here there building another tidelands health hospital and I find it ironic there company has the money for that but can't afford to get actual good doctors at there poorly managed facilities. (If you care about your health I would advise to go some other place!!!!)

I just had my egd today, and dr. abadie is great, friendly and made me feel comfortable. The whole staff was so pleasant and kind. You don't really see that anymore. Thank you Ms. Carol, Ms. Samantha and Mr. Doug...  have a great day!!!!

I don't like the way they make you feel like you are a bother too them. Hard to get a call back and they don't listen to your concerns very well.

Had a procedure done. All the staff were professional and friendly. The surgery center is clean and bright.

Waited at the ENT for my 6 month olds appt for 35 mins, then when I asked how much longer, they said they were busy today and wanted me to come back another day. This isnt the first time either- our first appointment, we had waited almost 45 mins to be seen. We won’t be back! Very unprofessional. I lost my $60 copay

Unfortunately my dad passed away last Thursday night June 10, 2021 at the Waccamaw Community hospital after being there for 9 days.  He was 84 and had just moved here the Saturday a couple of weeks prior.  Fortunately however we got him moved here just in time.  The staff on 3rd floor East and the Dr's could not have treated and cared from my dad and my family better than they did.  Dr P (can't spell it or pronounce it but that's what the nurses called him) was absolutely top notch.  And treated my dad and my family with so much care and respect.  The nursing staff April, Lynda, Joanne, Eddy and I wish I could remember every name, went above and beyond.  Even the food service and cleaning crew took a minute to talk to my dad and us even though my dad had no clue they were there.  Just total respect!  Thank you so much for making my dads last nine days the best they could be for him and us.  Our hearts will forever be greatful and be with all of you!
