This is an accurate review of my experience with Tidelands Health and Gastro . I had been a patient there for another matter and had to visit the emergency room with non stop hiccups for 5 days. They told me to get all reports and come to the office to see a PA Rebecca Hash. Upon seeing her she ordered x-rays which I had brought from the ER and told me I had acid reflux but I needed an endoscopy. I explained how the pain was so bad and at times it caused me extreme trouble breathing. She put me on a medication and told her MA to set up a procedure. And thats where the circus began. I can say without a doubt or any malice the the office and staff dont have a clue or care about the patient. I had 3 procedures scheduled and canceled due to THEIR lack of knowing procedures or propper ways to file a claim. I would advise anyone to avoid this place and the rude people who work there at all costs.

Dr. Bach and staff are awesome! I have had years of gastrointestinal issues and we moved to a new city and state and was anxious about t finding a well qualified doctor. Was thrilled with the staff’s and Dr. Bach’s care of my husband and myself! Just went through some testing and was able to pinpoint a solvable problem. I have recommended his office to friends and they are happy too.

Dr Bach is a good doctor if you don't need surgery I didn't realize I spent a year with him and didn't realize he didn't do sigma surgery on your colon

He hasn’t listened to any of my concerns. He also never speaks to me when I am awake. I have no idea the results of my colonoscopy or my endoscopy. I know I have gastroparesis but he refuses to listen to me about my autoimmune condition that is causing it and is instead suppressing my immune system more. He told me he was going to take my phone from me bc I am researching my symptoms. if I DIDNT research, doctors like him would in a live people every day. It’s okay to admit that you don’t know everything Doc. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. His office never even sent out the packets for my procedures. Ohhhh and he also had the audacity to ask ab my mental health and then it was CONFIRMED VIA gastric emptying test that I was correct. Where is my apology? His biography is bull. He doesn’t care or maybe he used to and gradually lost that ability

This was 4 weeks from this post…. She has a severely enlarged non fatty liver…. He delayed treatment and refused to listen to his patient… this is malfeasance…borderline malpractice…. I will be contacting my lawyers shortly…. Stay away….

My wife had to see him for what we thought was a hernia and had gotten worse… he walked in and tried to tell my wife, without touching her ordering a test ANYTHING and tried to tell us it was her gut biome…. This was 4 weeks from this post…. She has a severely enlarged non fatty liver…. He delayed treatment and refused to listen to his patient… this is malfeasance…borderline malpractice…. I will be contacting my lawyers shortly…. Stay away….

Met him for my husband’s colonoscopy at Waccamaw Hospital. Very pleasant and professional-procedure done quickly with biopsies. His NP is awesome in the office too. I am scheduled for an EGD soon-feel completely comfortable with Dr. Bach doing the procedure.

My experience has been great. He took time to talk with me before endoscopy and colonoscopy without evidence of hurrying that I have experienced before with other doctors. Same immediately before the procedures, and with my wife and me afterwards. I told my family doctor I wanted someone he would want, and my family doctor recommended Dr. Bach -- based on my personal experience, I'm glad he did.

I'm not one to see a doctor for anything but the most dire of circumstances. No problem with Dr Bach though. Very knowledgeable and personable, and I'm very glad I was referred to him, right here in Murrells Inlet, too. Thanks Doc.
