Ce sont des lieux ternes et décrépies ou les gens sentassent cordés face à face sans internet dans une petite pièce lugubre et pleine à craquer . Jai donc été surprise de voir cette Urgence Le personnel est super gentil autant à laccueil que dans la salle de soin ellemême . En moins de 15 minutes jétait rendue à recevoir les soins qui étaient nécessaires à mon état de santé et tout cela avec une gentillesse et une bonne humeur exemplaire La salle de soin est tout simplement WOW télévision individuelle rideaux de séparations entres les cubicules très beaux et internet gratuit Un vrai hôtel 5 étoiles . Et même si mon Anglais laisse à désirer ils ont été patients et super gentils et ont pris le temps de mécouter Cet urgence devrait servir dexemple au système de santé Québécois Merci à tout le personnel vous avez été tout simplement géniaux

Great local hospital with a very attentive and caring staff of doctors and nurses and other healthcare heroes. Several family members including myself have been patients at GSMC both of my children were born in this hospital and we have never once been disappointed with the care. Hospital offers a huge variety of services from cardiac surgery to trauma care. Rooms common areas and parking lots very clean and safe. Customer service and billing departments are always helpful and quick to respond to questions. Gives me peace of mind knowing we have a certified trauma center in our area.

The nicest most professional yet comfortable and calming staff. Everyone I dealt with was very kind and understanding

I have to give a HUGE shout out to Grand Strand Medical Center surgical center.. My daughter was having a big procedure done. The child life specialist Taylor is a breath of fresh air She is such a huge commodity to this hospital.. The nursing staff too which included Kelli and Brittney. The three of them gave my family and I such an amazing experience.. It’s very rare to find such compassionate workers. ❤️

Worst hospital I ever stepped foot in I just moved here and was out of my med that was coming in the mail. They assumed I’m a “drug addict” Well maybe there are a lot down here but I’m not one of them I even had my prescription. They released me with a bad EKG AND PANIC ATTACK. Total defamation of character.

Would love to give 5 stars but so disappointed with the doctor that seen me. The story.. My toe became purple. everyone told me to go to ER.. I called the nurse hotline for our insurance and she also said to go to ER. Well I went to ER.Checking in was 5 stars.. Friendly and fast. To the financial section the lady there was fast even her talking.. I asked how much coffee she had.. Good laugh. Great person there.. Got in quick I was shocked. Seen the 3 people there. All checked my toe blood pressure etc etc.. Very efficient and all very friendly.. 5 Stars to them.1st doctor I seen sent me for xrays. Xray tech was 5 stars also. We had a good chat there and back to my spot. About 45 minutes plus later another lady doctor came. Looked at my toe. Said thats dirt from my flip flop. I laughed and said I didnt wear these flip flops until now coming here. She looked and looked and said Ill be back.. She comes back with lots of packets of alcohol wipes. Started scrubbing my toe.. I looked at her and said its not dirt.. She looked at the pad and obviously clean.. She goes well it looks like dirt because it rubs against your flip flop. Anyways comes back later says good to go home and hands me script for medication and I left and met up with my wife and told her the story.. She said are you going to fill the medication.. I replied would you take something from someone that thought it was dirt???First pic is toe when I came in. 2nd pic is my toe the next day.. Yes it got worse.

The staff was attentive and professional but also friendly. There was not a long wait. My appointment was at 815am and I was finished before 9am.

As a interfacility transport medic who has literally taken hundreds of patients to this facility from other hospitals ect in the past 3 years. As a patient I am ashamed I ever told anyone to go GSMC ED. Horrible experience 😪 I still am trying to wrap my mind around how disrespectful and aggressive attitudes were. There is something very wrong with that. Definitely not excellence in patient care or basic respect for other human beings.
