I need hip surgery and feel lucky to have Dr Brothers doing the surgery. Dr Brothers is very knowledgeable and patient. He answered my questions and am looking forward to knowing I'm in good hands. One year later: one of the best decisions I've made. My surgery went well and I'm back to all the activities that I did before my injury.

I am very impressed with Dr. Brothers and SC Ortho. The staff have all been pleasant, professional and punctual. Dr. Brothers provided information prior to my surgery to help me understand what to expect, and he answered all of my questions before and after the surgery. Dr.Brothers used the most up-to-date procedures in my hip replacement. I would recommend Dr. Brothers without reservation; he is the best.

Both hips were replaced within the past year by Dr Justin Brothers. I have had incredible experiences with the whole process both times. Dr. Brothers is an excellent Dr./Surgeon. The process/skill/care provided by him, Ortho SC and Grand Strand Med Center was exceptional, five stars plus!

I am 3 wks out from having a total knee replacement done by Dr Brothers and I am so very pleased. Dr Brothers and his team are very impressive. I felt so prepared for my surgery and have recuperated much faster than I had thought I would. I can’t say enough about my experiences with Ortho SC and The Carolina Bone and Joint Center. I would recommend them to anyone needing to have orthopedic surgery!

My "new" knee is almost a year old but I never got around to submitting a review. My other knee had been replaced several years ago and altho it's been functional, it's always been problematic and I've had periodic pain. But the knee Dr. Brothers did is fantastic! I can do all activities and movements. I only needed serious pain killers for 4 days, after that I took acetaminophen for a couple of weeks and after that, only occasionally. I drove around the parking on day 10 altho I didn't drive on the roads for 2 weeks. After 4 weeks I got on a plane and went to Istanbul where I walked up and down endless stairs – I'd brought a cane but didn't use it. I was 77 when I got my knee but I was very active and in excellent shape to begin with plus I did my PT faithfully and I'm sure that contributed to my relatively easy experience. But I also had a most excellent surgeon! My experience at our local hospital was also positive.

Dr. Brothers completed my total knee replacement three weeks ago. He is highly regarded by his colleagues! I think he is the BEST! I had gone through cortisone and gel shots, and they just weren’t working any longer. Everyone in the office is very pleasant and knowledgeable. When my surgery was scheduled, they kept in touch with me with reminders ( even though I was given an extensive booklet with much information). Even after surgery, they continue to send me texts to check up on my progress. I love that you can use the portal to review notes of each of your visits as well. Dr Brothers and ORTHOSC is top notch!
