List of Lane I. Moore's Reviews
I saw Dr Moore for a follow up 8 months after a hernia surgery. I first saw the resident and told him I was having abdominal pain. He recommended a CT Scan. When Dr Moore came in I also told him I was having abdominal pain. He examined me and said I didn’t have another hernia. I told him the resident recommended a CT Scan and he said it was not necessary he looked me in the eye and said “sometimes we need to learn to live with pain”. My pain continued, I tried to live with the pain but couldn’t any longer. I went to the ER. They did a CT Scan and an ultrasound and within a few hours I was having emergency gallbladder surgery. I was told that they were going to call Dr Moore because it was hospital courtesy to contact your surgeon. I refused. I said I’ll take whoever was on call. Dr Mohammed Kelli operated on me and he was wonderful. I have never had such a caring doctor. I pray I will never need another surgery but I would contact Dr Kelli in a heartbeat and I am done with Dr Moore
I went in to get a cyst removed by Dr. Moores office. He was very egotistical and was talking down on other doctors about their lack of removal of sac and all of the cyst. His office did not remove the entire cyst. Two weeks later it got infected because his office did not close up the cut. I had to go to another doctor because of the infection. That office checked it and said he definitely did not get it all. That was only two weeks after the surgery. Then the cyst got three times bigger than what it started off at. I know there’s a chance they may come back but they never got this one the first time. I called Dr Moores office they said they would look at it but that they were gonna charge me to do the same thing they should have done the first time. I said absolutely not. I went to a more professional doctor and they got it all, no infection and the stitch work was a lot better than Dr. Moore could have ever done. I would not recommend them to put a band aid on a wound.
I have seen Dr. Moore for two surgeries in past 3-4 years. Very sincere, friendly and helpful nature. Good post op. followup. So glad I found him. Helpful and friendly staff!
Immediately disappointed and frustrated because he wouldn’t listen to me explain my difficulty with getting the tests and treatments I needed and deserved. He kept interrupting me and started insulting the knowledgeable Interventional Radiologist from MUSC that had treated me up to that point. I was trying to find a local vascular specialist to continue my follow up care, so I wasn’t having to travel so far. He claimed that I couldn’t be helped because my Interventional Radiologist had treated me the completely wrong way, which was total nonsense. I was surprised that I could fit in the exam room with the massive ego he carries around.
Dr Moore was great throughout the entire process. My 4th hernia repair, he took the time to explain his thoughts to rectify once &for all prior to surgery, than I had surgery on a Friday, and was admitted for a short hospital stay. I was very impressed when Dr Moore himself showed up both Saturday&Sunday AM with an assistant to check on me, instead of just having a house Dr handle .He than followed up with 3 consecutive weekly office visits to ensure all was healing to his satisfaction.Truly cares about his patients, I would not hesitate to use again in the future, or recommend his services to anyone in need of a general surgeon.
Truly cares about his work and the well being of his patients. He gave me the closest thing to personal care I ve ever received from a surgeon. Would not hesitate to use again, should the need ever arise, or to recommend him to anyone in need of a good general surgeon.
very rude..could have cared less. He was tired and didn't even go over my CT report with me. I would not go back. And unless you want to waste an afternoon, I suggest you find another doctor. Staff was great.
Dr. Moore removed a skin cancer from my foot. 3 days later it was swollen red and painful. Called his office and spoke with cover doctors, and was given an antibiotic and advised that I go to the ER if it got worse. I went to the ER 2 days later and was told it was cellulitis. Moore insisted I come in, and all he did was dispute that it was infected and went off on a rampage saying it was not infected. Had his nurse remove the 6 day old stitches. He has a huge ego problem, and very arrogant.
Dr,. Moore is a great Surgeon and staff is also great !!! You want go wrong by using him !! God Bless !!
Dr. Moore probably saved my life. Because of his negative attitude and unfriendly manner, I cancelled my surgery and found another surgeon who did an outstanding job.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
