List of Neal Shore Md's Reviews
Dr Shore was very kind , friendly and answered all my questions. He is getting me into 2 studies that will help me with prostate cancer. I'm excited to have the chance to work with him. His dedication to his field is outstanding
The more I go to him the less I like him; his "bed side manner" is terrible. He demeans his patients when they ask questions. He is curt and lacks patience. He "lauds" his "30 years of experience" in dealing with cancer. He belittles one if they have concerns of cancer reoccurring. He brings into the examination room anyone he chooses without introduction. I feel he is uncaring and unconcerned.
Dr. Shore is one the best doctors in Myrtle Beach. I went under his care in 2018 for a rising PSA level. A year later my PSA elevated 2 plus points. He was very proactive, insured I received the best diagnoses which resulted in finding cancer. He offered a referral for a second opinion anywhere in the United States. I selected Duke, which he referred me to one of the best Urologist surgeons on the east coast for a second opion. From the beginning Dr. Shore was proactive and established his patient had his foremost attention, along with his dedicated staff. In October 2019 he ordered a MRI which confirmed I had cancer. I shortly was schduled for a biopsy performed by him at Atlantic Urrology Clinics. The biopsy confirmed the findings of the MRI and provided the diagnosis of my cancer location and staging. When I went to Duke they confirmed the findings based on Dr. Shore's assessment. In sum, I owe my live to Dr. Shore and his team of professionals.
My intial appointment was yesterday (7/15/20) and the experience with Doctor Shore was great. Everyone I interacted with at this office was very professional and the doctor took his time during the appointment to explain several options. I would like to not rush into surgery for BPH so we are going to try a different medication for now. My action item is to follow his orders and time will tell regarding my need for surgery. Not at any point was the doctor or any staff rude to me whatsoever. His credentials are amazing and I will gladly drive the 1.5 hours in the car to see this doctor.
Completely rude and inappropriate. The rudest physician I have ever had dealings with. Screamed at me on the phone and said it was a privilege for him to respond to our call and if I didn’t like his tone then we could find another doctor.
Never will go to him again!
This doctor was the meanest individual my daughter has encountered. She had been hospitalized due to kidney stones. When she finally got in to see him, he only focused on her weight, not even asking about the kidney stone. She emerged sobbing from his office. She is about 50 pounds overweight, but has lost 25 already. He’s a misogynist and should be avoided.
Dr. Shore is incredibly rude to patients, family members, colleagues and staff. He consistently disrespects his patients and treats them more as an inconvenience. His profession matches his personality.
One of the rudest Doctors I’ve ever met. Does not work well with anyone on his staff, rude to colleagues and patients. He treats patients as an inconvenience, personality matches with his profession.
This doctor didn’t even ASK my daughter how her kidney stones were. Instead, he launched in to a diatribe about how FAT she was. He bullied and belittled her. This man should only be doing research..NEVER dealing with patients. Y

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
