Dr Mayhew diagnosed and treated my compression fracture and bulging discs. He explained options clearly, didn’t rush and has helped me manage the pain. His nurse Terry is also great.

This office is so amazing. Terri, Dr Mayhew's nurse, is so humerous and witty... It is a dry humor but I enjoy dry humor. The office is very efficient and gets you in and out. Dr Mayhew is very likeable and will spend as much time with you as needed to help resolve your pain issues. Everyone... Receptionists, lab personnel, ... Are very g friendly. Love this office... Thanks guys!!

Dr. Mayhew is part of Carolina Health Specialists and was referred to me by my primary care physician who is part of the same practice. I’ve been very impressed with the patient portal and the communication, expertise and friendliness among the doctors, nurses and staff, as well as with their response time being so prompt.

Absolutely the BEST! He takes time to explain your problem & gets on it ASAP. I found him to listen to every word I said, he did his paperwork in front of me, asked me questions & scheduled for relief in my hip. His nurse Terri is so awesome too. She helps with any questions of confusion I had. They are my team for future pain management in my retirement????

I was checking through health grades to try and find a decent dr who could help me with my leg and hip. After reading some of This dDrs. Reviews I called to make an appointment. No appointment without a referral even though I told the woman I had just moved back here not to long ago and hadnt set up with a primary care dr. Etc. That I have my medical history. I know if I need to see someone. I cant believe the rudeness of this person even their automated system voice sounds extremely rude. I should not have to pay to see one dr in order to ser another. Especially when I know what I need to see a Dr. For and in this case it's to see someone with an orthopedic osteoarthritis background. What a bunch of crap. Make you spend double just to be seen or accepted as a patient?? No way would I ever go here now. Money grubbing racket beware.

It is always hard to find new doctors. When I moved to SC, I happened upon (Dr. Scott Mayhew. By my second visit, I knew that I had found a professional, caring doctor (and his nurse, Terri). They don't make you feel like a number and they are truly concerned with your health. He has been great. Lucky to have found such a great physician.
