List of Tidelands Health's Reviews
Currently 37 weeks pregnant and have been using this facility my entire pregnancy. Not thrilled overall, and definitely won't use them again. My main complaint is that I've hardly seen the same doctor twice. They have put me with numerous OBGYNs, midwives, MDs, etc. and each appointment is with a different provider. Many of the providers I saw are no longer at Tidelands at all and rotated out, which the front desk told me is common- the doctors are all on 2 year contracts apparently. Appointments are limited and they rarely call me back when I call the nurse's line. They say that they swap providers often so that we meet all of the providers that could be on call when I'm in labor but so far very few of the providers we have met are still at Tidelands at all, so it defeats the purpose. Also, having a rotating door of providers means that no single doctor is in charge of my care and keeping track of my pregnancy. I have to stay on top of what interventions/tests are supposed to be happening and ask about them myself because the providers are on different schedules and assume other doctors did it. It feels like no one is familiar with my chart. I like Tidelands hospital which is why I chose them but it's not worth this headache and feeling like I'm being skipped over.
I love this place its really great and caring about your needs.Front staff is good to they always call you the day before your app. and they always call you back.
I've been going for prenatal visits and absolutely felt comfortable with Dr. Heinek and Dr. Martinez! They have been wonderful through my entire journey with my first baby. They listen and aren't judgemental like others I've been to. I absolutely recommend those two doctors.
I called for help on my bill bc I didn’t understand how Insurmace system work . While people who work for Insurace blue cross really helped me with their heart but not at this Dr office .The woman who answered the phone from this office she had attitude , very bitter How can she sleep at night I wonder ? For this difficult time people would appreciated her tons if she understands this . My self I could never do that to anyone bc I won’t be able to sleep .
I have been dealing with recurrent UTIs in addition to period problems. I was misdiagnosed with interstitial cystitis. I tried to get an appointment with the urogynecologist at this practice. I thought it would be good to see someone that understood women’s health and the urinary system. My current urologist only seems to know about men’s health and testosterone. When I called this practice to ask for an appointment, I was shoved off and refused treatment. I was told I could use a regular gynecologist and urologist somewhere else, but the doctor I asked to see wouldn’t be treating a UTI, giving a second opinion or basically treating me in any way. I’ve never called a doctors office where I have been refused treatment and talked down to like that. I’ve never been told I can go to a somewhere else in such a flippant way like my health issues were completely insignificant. I would never use Tidelands Health for anything ever again. I wouldn’t even take my animals there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
