Beautiful new facility, great location … had full knee replacement surgery in September at MUSC (& complications after) been going to rehabilitation therapy w/ Michelle Sine. Very knowledgeable Genuine and caring
Made an appt with Dr Suda and it took 2 weeks. The day before my appt his office canceled and said he was called away to do a respiratory clinic! I had made the appt because I was suffering post Covid with respiratory problems and it was going to take another 9 days to get an appt. So very disappointed! Don't call this office if you need to see a doctor anytime soon.
Wish I could do less than a star but I can't. This is for all you who look at these heads up the ENT office sucks! The Drs do their job and that's amazing but the staff is horrible. We got our son the help he needed w/I tidelands help point blank and when we needed records or anything the staff made it as difficult as possible. Complained and went to the office mgr and as high as I could idk if anything was ever done but horrible HORRIBLE experience. MUSC has their name on this hospital system now too, they weren't when we went so I hope it's better bc MUSC has better standards than what we dealt with there. If a child is in need nothing should be in the way of helping that child! If I could I'd fire the whole staff.
Customer Service and confidentiality are not a consideration at this site.On Thursday of the previous week I was informed the J&J vaccine was available. I tried to walk in today at 10:00 a.m. (they don't take walk-ins on Monday). for the J&J Vaccine. I was "greeted" by your security guard. When I informed if of why was there, he gruffly asked, "Do you have symptoms?" When I said no, he directed me to the 3rd floor.Upon my arrival to the floor, there were two ladies sitting at computer screens, busy with patients. NO signage indicated whether to stand there or have a seat. The lady on the left stated "we will be with you as soon as we can." I sat down. Then she said please stand or we will loose track of you. Then, 12 feet away she asked "What are you hear for?" I stated the J&J vaccination. She responded abruptly, that the site was out of J&J.I finally made my decision to take the Covid vaccine of my choice. I viewed the greeting and lack of confidentiality unprofessional. I have worked in hospitals, and worked 33 years in public health for this state. What I experienced today was not what I am used to in terms of hospital staff procedures. Now, if these folks are overworked or hostile towards late adopters for the vaccine, they just caused me to pause. Customer service skills and practicing confidentiality are paramount in the medical field and what I experienced today is unacceptable to me.
I have been a Tidelands patient for several years. My primary care provider recently left her practice with no warning, and I was extremely concerned I would not be able to find someone accepting new patients. I just saw Dr. Sean Nguyen today for the first time. The facility is extremely nice, the front staff are very helpful and kind, and the nurse was thorough and kind as well. Dr. Nguyen was dealing with an emergency, but still came into the exam room in a very timely manner. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and I can tell has a wonderful bedside manner. Hard to find. The entire process was very efficient and quick, without being rushed. Exactly what you want in a doctor’s office. Check out was easy too. I am glad to have found this new doctor and practice.
The doctors need to be more concerned about their patients.
I can never get a phone person here. You go for your appointment, thrh are all just sitting there doing what I see ,nothing. I do not understand. .
Update: I am revising this review, plus one star, because I learned that the slow billing problems were shared between my insurance company and the practice, not necessarily the practice's fault. The providers here are Georgetown Physicians Assocs., not Tidelands. At my follow-up visits I always inquired whether I had a balance and was told no. That's because Tidelands does not have visibility into Georgetown's medical claims billing. The costs for office visit were more per visit than specialists' visits in same time period due to added facility fees and extra charge for lab test review in addition to the actual test. My former family practice did not add these fees.New patient. I feel my first exam including lab work was very thorough. However, my main reason was to get my diagnosis as T2 diabetic, discovered by another specialist, confirmed. I feel that as a family practice, they should provide education on diabetes--nutrition, management, equipment and goals. Or, at least provide resources such as pamphlets and references, such as a diet plan, American Diabetes association,o other organizations. More - The building is beautiful. My wait times to be seen were quick. Telephone follow-ups on mammogram and lab work results are timely. But, return calls on prescription and other issues, to me and pharmacy, lagging a little. A few times I felt like my voicemail messages were not received. This is a new facility and perhaps the above is due to growing pains.
First off I was very disappointed that I had to schedule an appointment and pay for an office visit to have a "meet and greet" with the dr. in order to get into their system as a patient. To me, it was about getting more money. We discussed what was going on and had to schedule another appointment to address the issue....REALLY! Because others told me that Tidelands is a good medical clinic I decided to continue to dr. there to form my own conclusion. Recently I had a 6 month follow up appointment. I enjoyed the PA I visited and we had great conversation. She ordered an ex-ray and informed me that based on the x-ray I may need to schedule an appointment with Pain Management. I had the x-ray done after my appointment. X-ray technician told me that I should hear something from them that day as to the results. This was on a Monday. Heard nothing. Tuesday heard nothing. Tuesday night I sent the PA a note through my portal. Wednesday morning I received a call, which I missed and a message was left. I called back in the morning and had to leave a message on an answering machine. Heard nothing. I called back later afternoon and spoke to a person to be told, the message was with the nurse. She will go over my x-ray with me and that I should keep the pain management appointment. I informed her I didn't have a pain management appointment as I was waiting for the results of the x-ray. She then told me they will contact me to schedule an appointment. I didn't hear from the nurse on Wednesday. Thursday morning I called and left another message on the answering machine (by now I'm very frustrated). Later Thursday afternoon I get a call from the nurse to tell me that my x-ray shows mild arthritis and that I should keep my appointment with pain management. I told her I don't have an appointment with pain management. Everything was based on the x-ray results. She informed me that they will contact me to schedule an appointment. It is now Friday and I still have not received a call to schedule an appointment with pain management. Thankfully I'm not in a critical health situation. I'm looking at returning to Grand Strand as I received better care there then what I have received so far from Tidelands.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
