List of Tidelands Health's Reviews
Dr Jain is a caring, compassionate physician. You never feel rushed, she is willing to listen vs looking at a computer screen. Highly recommend her!
When I first started going here I felt comfortable and loved it. After a few times not so much. If insurance doesn't approve a medication it takes weeks to get a hold of the Dr. To see what other medications and its an endless cycle of calling and messaging and no one returning your calls. Not to mention the last time I seen the Dr. He was interrupted by his CELL phone during my appointment saying the hospital was "texting" him. How rude and unprofessional. While he supposed to be listening to me he was reading messages and had no idea what I was saying. I didn't feel listened to at all. It is very frustrating when you have some health issues and your Dr. Is absent at your scheduled appointment or you have to chase them for weeks for answers or medications. Smh. Do not recommend and will be looking for a new Dr. Soon. Also the women's health clinic GOODLUCK trying to get a women Dr. A month in a half wait and no appointments after 230. So those who work in health care have to miss work not to mention the hour of waiting past my appointment everytime. So frustrating. Even worse if your sick and need to get in right away forget it. You could a uti and they say we can get you in in 3 weeks what the heck. This place is horrible. They do not care about their patients.
I have been to this location with my daughter and my mother. Both had the same experience. The building is clean and feels safe with COVID protocols. The doctors and staff were all lovely. The problems start when you leave the building. Communication is HORRIBLE and no one responds to phone messages or portal messages. In my mother's case, her appointment was to run bloodwork to see if her existing med needed to be changed. She was out of pills so they gave her a week's worth and said the labs would be back in 2-3 days. Then they would call the new prescription in. We waited until she was almost out of those pills before we started trying to contact them about the labs. After several days of leaving multiple phone messages, portal messages and even going back to the office TWICE, there was NO response. Finally, on Friday right before closing, someone called in the prescription. But there has STILL never been a call or portal message from the doctor - 22 days later. No one has ever discussed the lab results with her or responded to ANY of her messages.Daughter had a similar experience. Had to hound them and hound them for almost 2 weeks for lab results and for meds to be called in. Very poor communication and not worth the stress.
I seen Dr.Miller once he sweemed to be a good doctor but the office and how they handle things are horrible..leave messages on an answering machine which ive never gotten at a doctor's office till i delt with this office...drop off a papper for my sons boy scouts and after giving me the run around for 2 weeks they told me they couldnt find the paper..i could list so much more but its best you look into other offices before going here just as im currently looking for a new family doctor for me and my son..
Francine Jackson is rude I don’t know how she still has job. Nice doctors nasty assistant
My wife & I tried for 5 & 4 1/2 months to get an appointment to see a doctor. We finally got to see Dr. Lau (excellent doctor). He wanted to see us again in three months. We have tried for one month to get another appointment. We call and are forwarded to an answering machine each time but no one ever returns our calls. The doctor is great but the office is a zero. What would we do in an emergency? I would highly recommend finding another office for medical help.
Dr. McCauley is the best! Very caring. You don’t feel rushed & actually listens. She’s a rare one! Very detailed & great personality on top of it! Only downside of this place is you will never get a callback.. you have to stop in to talk to anyone. But Doc is worth it. So you pick your battles... she’s a class act!
Highly recommend this Family practice.
I’m torn because my Mom and I go to Tidelands because of Dr. Ghiassi. He is personable, knowledgeable, and quite frankly knows how to handle my Mom. She’s 80,she respects and listens to him. He keeps her engaged while getting her to do what she needs to do to stay healthy and “follow the rules.” His nurse, Kelly, is just as clever and knowledgeable in her care of my Mom. They are an asset to the practice, they are why we go to Tidelands.Unfortunately, the front desk and lab department has issues. Twice when leaving our appointments,we scheduled our next appointments (getting the schedule card)and on the days we showed up, we were told we weren’t on the schedule. Yes, not once, TWICE!! We were turned away both times as if it was our error!!!We got up for our appointments (prior to 9am) and we get sent home. No effort made in accommodating us for their error. I had also spoke to the doctor that Monday prior to the appointment and Theresa at the front desk said he had a note in my Mom’s records for the staff to call me because I had mentioned we had an appointment which he didn’t see one scheduled. I asked why no one called me. She said, “I guess no one got to it.” Well, I guess no one reads a doctors charts everyday?? I’m telling you Dr.Ghiassi is the best. He was even going beyond his job by leaving a note which no one bothered reading! I’m not even bothering about the lab incident, this went on to longFor Dr. Ghiassi and Kelly it’s 5 stars!!! The rest of them need help!UPDATE: I must add how awful their customer service/telephone service is. They keep you on hold for 6 minutes every time you call then you are sent to answering machine. I have to call multiple times, leaving multiple messages before someone calls me back!
Dr. Muttalib is excellent, he sees all three of my kids. Good experience with staff, they’re always helpful/nice. Building is brand new and very clean. Also a convenient location, not too busy in surroundings.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
