List of Timothy Gajewski Md's Reviews
My first visit since moving in area. While an extensive wait, it was worth it! Very easy to talk with; approachable; thorough
I love the staff at the Carolina Shores office of Atlantic Urology. They are helpful and accommodating, unlike the office in Little River. My only reservation in recommending this office is that it is extremely difficult to get an appointment with the doctor. Even when I think I’m going to see the doctor, I end up seeing the PA. The PA is good, but she’s not a doctor.
I have been a patient at Atlantic Urology for several years and usually have warm praise for Dr. Gajewski, however over the last year, I have been disappointed by his lack of candor, not giving full information on treatment, not showing up for appointments but rather sending a PA and then charging full for the appointment.
A friend referred me to Dr. Gajewski. The doctor was very proactive and pushed to conduct tests on my friend even though his psa numbers were normal. It saved his life because he had severe cancer and was able to recover because the doctor got it early enough. So I started seeing Dr. Gajewski. He is thorough and progressive in his approach. The only part I don't like is that as a patient at Atlantic urology I often see his nurse practitioner, who is very thorough and takes time to discuss everything. Seems about 1 out of 3-4 visits I actually see the doctor.
This man shouldn't even be a doctor he has no bed side manner at all, doesn't listen to his patients complaints when telling him something is wrong with them. He cuts them off in mid-sentence and mocks his patients. He is beyond Rude, should be sued for Malpractice.
Although I have left the McLeod group of doctors because I lost trust and faith in them, I chose to stay with Atlantic Urology. The doctors, PA and nursing staff, as well as the office staff are fantastic. They are caring and thorough with their handling of my health issues and they take the time to explain things as well as answer my questions. I highly recommend this group.
Rude is an understatement. I would never recommend this doctor nor would I ever see him again. He's everything wrong in medicine today. No wonder he's moved around so much. He's rude, does not listen, and appears to not care at all about anything related to getting you out the door as soon as possible. I truly need knee surgery, but he couldn't be bothered. Thank God I found a real doctor and not this guy.
I have had several procedures performed by Dr Gajewski and he saved me from a horrific emergency room experience. He is by far, one of the most caring and knowledgeable Urologists that I have seen. I am so glad that I found him when I was in need...
This doctor is cold, and only wants your money. He refused my request to have a second round of anitbiotics called in after saying that I would need it, saying I needed yet another office visit. Just to get more money from people who have no insurance! I said to them, so you would rather leave a patient suffering with an infection already diagnosed because they cannot afford your repeated apptoinments and they said YES! No one there wants to help either! DO NOT GO TO THIS MONEY HUNGRY DOCTOR!
Went to 4 other urologists before we found him. I give him 10 stars. Wish we found him sooner. Thank you for everything.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
