Doctor Barefield is one of the most exemplary Medical Practitioners I know. Her knowledge and experience are par-exsalonce and beyond reproach. Doctor Barefield is not only my health care professional, but I think of her as a friend. She makes me feel as if my mother has placed a band-aid on my Boo-Boo just like she did many, many years ago. It is good to feel that way, and trust one with your health care needs at my age. Thank you, Doctor Tracy Barefield.

Since I wrote my review, I have had another 5 star experience with Dr. Barefield. I fell when I was visiting a relative in Texas. The ER dr. did an x-ray and told me that I was ok, but I knew I wasn't. I couldn't put ANY weight on my right leg. My husband called Dr. Barefield, and she arranged for me to have an MRI the next day. They found that my femur was broken in 2 places and my knee had a damaged ligament. Without her, I don't know what I would have done. This was during Covid, so I understand things being crazy, but Dr. B. knows me and she knew that something was seriously wrong. I ended up having surgery on Christmas Eve and staying in the hospital for four days...in New Braunfels, TX. Recovery and rehab were very difficult, but I can't imagine what would've happened without Dr. Barefield. She and her staff are AMAZING!! I truly love them!! I don't know that I've had a better experience with any doctor...ever. Dr. Barefield and her staff are the best! They are so friendly, patient, and understanding. I've had several emergencies since I've been seeing Dr. Barefield, and she has helped me immensely through every one. I highly recommend her practice. You will not be disappointed! Dr. Barefield, Shirley, Maggie...I love y'all! Five paws up to Belle, too!

I have been a patient of Dr. Barefield's for over 20 years and have followed her from different offices. Many of my family see her as well. Not only is she good at her job but she EXCEEDS expectations of any doctor. She truly embodies what it means to have a great bedside manner with her exceptional care, kindness, compassion, and empathy. I can't recommend her highly enough!At her current MDVIP office, Maggie and Shirley are GREAT! Dr. Barefield definitely couldn't do what she does without them. A wonderful, thorough staff that quickly follows up can make or break a doctor's office. They all seem like family to us! Seeing Belle is fun, too!

I have been so pleased with the office. Shirley in the front office is so friendly and kind. She makes me feel like a valued patient! Dr. Barefield has been a great doctor, willing to listen to my medical concerns and not feeling rushed during my appointment. I’m happy to have a primary physician who cares about my well being!
