This was probably my first and worst visit ever made to a MUSC facility last night. We took our son to after hours care last night and seen Dr. Knowlton. As the previous review stated she seemed as if she already had her mind made up about our son before even examining him. She didn't even take in consideration that I am his mother and have been dealing with this for 5 months. She didn't even gather enough information to give us her a decent enough response to what our son is going through. Her response "kids are just sick". So, what do we do just let our son struggle. I honestly felt she didn't want to help us and felt as if we were treated unfairly and not equally. I honestly feel like it was a wasted visit and if I could dispute the insurance claim I would. It feels she has a personal agenda and it's not to be a pediatric doctor. Oh and she also made a rude remark about my son's weight. The nurses even acted weird last night as well! I have never received that type of care from musc

Horrible bedside manner

Very unimpressed with her bedside manner and evaluation. Had to go for a second opinion the next day and received an accurate diagnosis for my child.
