I work at NYU and wanted my mother to come to NY for her surgery. Not that there's not great doctors in SC. But I know my hospitals are thorough an attentive to their patients. I guess that's the one thing that bothered me. After my mom knee replacement with Dr. Zimlich he didn't come see her after she woke up. He didn't come the next day or reach out to at all once the surgery was done. When she had issues we were seen by the nurses(who we're very nice and attentive). Something else I didn't like was they have a one year follow up behind a knee surgery(that's incredible behind any surgery). My mom needed a second surgery and I brought her back to NYC and she was amazed and impressed by the difference. Doctors personally and verbally attended to their patients and follow ups. My mom had less worries and comfort this time around. For the most part Dr. Zimlich and employees were satisfactory, some more than others. At the hospital there was a nurse walking without a mask.

Dr Zimlich has been treating me for over a year, and I have found him to be very professional and informative. He has been very down to earth and honest in his recommendations for my treatment. I need double knee replacement and shoulder replacement, so I'll save that fifth star till then. I would highly recommend him.

I got an appointment within 2 days after receiving my referral. Dr. Zimlich used good eye contact& listened to my symptoms. Short wait time, and staff friendly.

Yes, I highly recommend Dr. Zimlech. He is a very knowledgeable, professional, and caring physician. He is a very cautious doctor when it comes to treatment. Surgery is a last resort for him. Also, the office is very clean and provides all precautions against Covid. All employees are very courteous and kind.
